I understand that you`ll have to pay to upgrade standard edition to SE after 11.01.11. but will we be able to buy retail copy of Signature Edition after 11.01.11. and after release in march? It is confusing as none of the online game shops (at least in UK) have time limit for pre-ordering SE. I just don`t want to buy it two months in advance as I can get it after release for less money. For example Dragon Age CE was less than 20 pounds three weeks after release.

since D2D and Impulse copies of the SE are region locked for me, (not to mention the difficulty of getting a physical copy) i saw another digital distribution site called Gamersgate (the SE is sellable ofcourse) , well to make it short does anyone have an idea if the site is reliable? i've never ordered anything from them or met someone else who did, after reading their FAQ i really dont know what to make of it.

Time's running short, and i'd appreciate any answer.

Not so. The SE is a limited time thing (or maybe better thought of as a limited number thing) - post Jan 11 what was preordered is what will be manufactured and delivered to retailers to fulfill these orders only.

You will not be able to purchase the SE at all after Jan 11!

If you find stock at retail after launch it would be luck - folks who cancelled their preorder, for example.

OK, thanks for explanation. But where is the catch SE being cheaper than standard edition?

All we can do is set a suggested price - retailers ultimately determine what to price at. They may be looking to drive up their numbers before preorder ends for ex. Either way looks like a good deal :)

As with previous launches, I would definitely encourage the community to share links to good deals out there with each other when you see them.

I see you really value the extra 10p you will have in your pocket in comparison with GAME's £24.99. I'd go with GAME because if you have a loyalty card then you can get around £1.50 in points when you preorder it so... yeah, better off with the latter, even if it is *slightly* more expensive. :P

Amazon sells It for 59.95$

January 11th is the last day you can preorder. Yes you can preorder this afternoon. AFTER January 11th then it is no more. This is the very last day. Cutting it rather close, but you're safe.

EDIT: I just checked the countdown timer on the DA-II front page and it says you have approximately 22 hours remaining. Demyx misspoke.

I havea pre-order at the ea store from november for ~£21 but I just pre-ordered from game.co.uk for £25 just incase ea decide to cancle the order or try to charge full price for it(£35), if the ea store order goes through fine I'll take the game order in for a refund(was thinking about doing it on amazon so could just cancle the order online if the ea one went through but the reward points from game swayed me, also if amazon gets to the 'getting the order ready for dispatch' stage before I cancle would have to get a rma and what not while the game one would simply be poping into town and returning it).

was thinking about the ps3 version but the pc version is £15 cheaper.

Oh sorry my bad. Seems like the 7 hours thing was just for one of the pre-order option sites that you could use.

After many weeks waiting I still don't see Portugal on the list, so I asssume the Pre Order I made on Dragon age 2 at a Gamestop store in Portugal will have be standard one, I check the store today again and its still the same, I also check the digital EA Store in Portugal and Gamestop until this point, and both sites don't have Signature Edition stilll, but various other branches of other countries have them so, what will I get in the end? Standard Edition?

Ridiculous, as no one in their right mind would use EA's download system voluntary. It's horrible, and this move certainly won't make me use that pile of *****. And there isn't even a Digital Deluxe edition, like with Dragon Age: Origins.

Really, it's becoming quite clear that EA is ruining BioWare game by game.

I can only agree with the EA download system being horrible. However, from what I remember, the Digital Deluxe Edition on steam didn't come at the same time as the normal edition, but first after a couple of DLC releases.
