This seems absolutely awesome. My thanks to BioWare for remembering the loyal fans!
But I really don't get this "content that should have been in the game" notion. BioWare decides what's in the game and what isn't, not the customer. If the game has too little content then it'll show in the overall quality, and critiquing it at that point is the sensible thing to do. But making clear cut statements that all possible content should be in the game reeks of falsely based entitlement. Especially here where they are offering it FREE if one preorders their game.

I expect it to be similar to DA:O in this. PC, yes, XBox, no. No idea how it went with PS3, though.

I'd totally prefer extra content like that, but it looks like that won't be the case this time

You are set as it will upgrade automatically.

If you (or anoyone) are unsure, wait a few days (it is available for months, so no rush just yet) and check with your local store.

I understand people are hestitant to pre-order already when there isn't even a hint of gameplay footage to be seen around. At least Bioware has a few months to correct that mistake and the fans got a few months to think about wether to pre-order or not. Some gameplay footage would actually help making that decision

I'm going for the Ultimate Edition so I'm probably gonna let this go past me.

Actually a real CE should have it all.Cloth maps extra content physical soundtrack the whole package.
This is such a huge let down especially after the Fallout New Vegas and Fable III Collectors Editions i am getting later this month

I take back my previous comment ... if we are getting collectors edition at the normal edition price. What could be wrong with that? That truly is a reward for loyal fans and has sealed the deal for me. Gamestop here I come!



I don't care about a cloth map, but is there any way it could come in a metal case? ...... please?
