Um, no, you are talking about merely using it as a locking trap or a warp bomb setup. I'm talking about using it as a directional pull/throw that allows me to set it and forget it. And after a few seconds, all my other powers are available.
Like I said, have you placed one above heads and not just directly at oncoming targets? Toss it, strip protections with your weapon. Then use your powers on the really hard targets while the initial ones are tossed up and through the roof. Or not. Like I said, it's only one example of how you can use singularity differently than what you do...

We can agree to disagree on this point homie. I set traps on floors, walls etc. It all feels pretty much the same to me.

Perhaps it's because your intent and your delivery were worlds apart. Your ME3 ideas question was the last line of your post prefaced by paragraphs of how terrible the Adept is and how tech casts are so much better. Are you really surprised, then, that the meat of your post is being addressed rather than what you really wanted to discuss?

Both classes are fun and effective, but how many ways are there to
play either one? Or better yet, how many builds actually make either class play
differently (but still as effectively)?
I’m looking for new Vanguard and Adept experiences, but they are hard to
find in the current power system.

How is this saying they are terrible? I enjoy playing the biotic classes. My beef is with the overlap of the biotic powers and the lack of versatility in effective builds relative to the other classes. Even if I did say they sucked, why do you care? Did you develop the biotics system for bioware? (If you did, they don't suck.) I didn't say that you have no skills as a player or anything like that. That's what I mean by taking it personally. Some people post about how engineers and sentinels are boring. I could care less, and I continue to enjoy playing them along with all the other classes. Hopefully Bioware will listen to the players, add some tweaks and make the game better. If people can bring forth suggestions that help make classes better by sharing their experiences with the game we all win. No need for snide comments about how one plays the game or one's lack of imagination.
