  I bought the DLC but i dont know if its installed or not.. i use steam to play ME 2 but it didn't notify me anything about new content installed while it usually does for other games... what do you do after you bought a DLC?

I also use steam but the two are independent. After installing you should receive a new message in the terminal near the star map of the Normandy. Also, the map should point out the new locations when available.

does new DLC mean i have to start a new game to play it?

No. The dlc is available on already started games. You only need to go to the star map and travel to the location.

I do i know the star location? its not telling me anything so far when i go to the start system

If DLC is installed correctly an in-game email will give some more info, like locations and mission description. The story DLC however is mostly not available until after you completed the Freedom's Progress or Horizon mission. If the game gave you a "DLC could not be authorized" warning, try this DYI-repair ;-)

You can, just fly to that planet and land on it; start the mission as any other.

Which DLC? Any problems with downloading and installing it? Did you get a message via the personal terminal in-game?

I began having trouble using the weapons locker to change weapons after installing the Firepower Pack and Shadow Broker DLC's, I herd the problem with Shadow Broker DLC was fixed, so the problem must have originated with the Firepower Pack DLC, does anyone have any ideas???

hi guys.i downloaded the kasumi dlc. its finished. but when i start playing the game. theres no notification about it. do i need to do something to activate the dlc?

You should have to connect to the Cerberus network to authorize the dlc, and then it should be ingame. If you have done so you may have to reinstall and try again.

me again. all i see when i log in on the cerberus network are news and info about dlc's. how do i authenticate it. when i look at my c drive for the kasumi files they are there? could you guys kindly tell me how to do it idiot proof. thanks a lot!

OK, once you dl the files, you have to run the exe/extractor to install the files into mass effect. So find out where you dl'd the files and click to run it(usually a double click). It should then run and install the files, after that start a game, and connect to Cerberus and start playing. IF you are past Freedom's progress it should give you an email saying she is on the Citadel to recruit.

me again. i just downloaded the overlord dlc. i click to install it. and it runs to verify the installer twice. and tells me that there isnt enough space in the product for installation. can you help? thanks

Sounds like you are out of space on your hard drive. Make sure you have at least 2gb free, 5gb would be better.
