that's what it looks to me, as for race i'd say human/elf. the armor doesn't look that heavy to me so i'm betting on rogue.

Not only that, but given that the figure is wearing armor, if you imagine where the actual body is, it's way too small to be a man.

Hmm, maybe. I never used crossbows in Origins so not as accustomed to their shape. This is fun, I like guessing games!

the armor is at most heavy armor and certainly not massive.

since it gives the appearance of a thin waistline i'd say a woman in light/medium/heavy armor

Yeah, it looks like female to me. I would guess a female elf, and, considering the weapon in her back, a rogue.

Ok I take back the elf part. I think she's human, rogue archer, med. armor, and that's a quiver on her back for sure.

Next thing that I can't figure out.. the bump on the left by her arm. That's an odd shape.

But it seems like we have a lot of rogues. We've already got Varric, Pirate Girl, possibly Nathaniel, and now this mystery follower. Plus if Hawke is a rogue, that's a whole lotta rogues.

The bump could be a wide belt since there's another bump on the other side.

Origins had a whole lot of warriors.

It looks like her head is turned to the right so that sort of helps a little in deciding the position she is standing in. I sure hope that is a sheathed weapon on her left side. How cool would it be to have weapons on our belts instead of on our backs!

He is, but both he and Mother Hawke are non-combatants in the demo so I'd bet he isn't a follower.
