Digging this thread up. Is there a chance that the signature edition will be available on steam again?

I was late to the party and did not pre-order.

Will the content be available separately?

lol I read the title as a sarcastic jibe about all the problems surrounding DLC for the sig edition.

THANKS Bioware for the sig edition (and all the problems that have come with it).

I wish the Signature Edition was more like The Witcher 2's Collectors' Edition, but oh well...

The SE will not be available for sale from retailers again (it never was on steam anyway), though you could buy it off ebay or something similar, for a higher price of course.

as for the content, the SE comes with sebastian and his assosiated quests (available for purchase for $7 i believe), the DA2 soundtrack (also available for purchase, not sure on the price though) and 5 in game items: a 2h-sword, a shield, a bow, a ring, and a staff if memory serves (none of which will be available for purchase, untill maybe a GOTY/Ultimate edition comes out in a year or so.)

Now guys, I like Bioware as much as the next guy, so dont misinterpret what i'm gonna say here, but thanking them is really kind of silly.

The truth is they're not doing this for you. The PR is "a gift for all our loyal customers" but that simply isn't true. They wouldn't simply give away this stuff if they didn't think they'd get a return on it. It may be a plus for you guys who were preordering it anyway, but you're not who they're looking at with this. They're trying to get the people who are on the fence about the game, those that will wait for a price cut or when it's used, or the (much wiser) people who will wait for the "Ultimate" edition with all the DLC packed in.

Hate to say it guys, but this was never about you.

Like I said, I like Bioware. They make good games that I enjoy playing. But nothing Bioware does is charitable, that's not how business works. The Signature Edition isn't a gift and you have nothing to be thanking them for.
