Same issue here. It gets to the Liara and the Spectre shooting at each other, does a load screen and then nothing. I tried to update drivers and nothing. I am playing via Steam so there is no way to re-load or roll back a patch. Waste of money so far.

I´ve found a solution : Before , it crashed as soon I started the cabs chase. I had control over the cab, also I could read Liara instructions but the rest of the screen was black.
I ´ve found a solution : Change configuration of the game . Change " motion blur " from YES to NO . That´s all. Now, the DLC works fine !!!

i check in every now and then ,to see ,if they have done something, but this has been now over a month. The Message is very clear. They dont care if it ever works. They got there money and the messages that they are saying is. I got your money so what if it dont work. Because the truth of the mater is, that if they did care this would have been resolved already. Well Another line of games that i will never buy or recomend to friends. I read now ever game i buy to make sure this company has nothing to do with it. Good Luck out there fellow gamers ,my advise ,look for another game and maker of games this one has no interest in your behalf beside of that to get your money.,

I had similar crash problems with this and turning off SLI fixed them for me.

Well, it's now 11/29, and (to my knowledge) there's no fix, though I haven't completed much more research into it than the 15 minutes it took me to find this thread. Anyways, this is quite a frustrating bug. I've tried disabling the blur effect (no effect).
The part where this crashes is during the car chase, when you and the Spectre are ramming eachothers' cars. Right when it launches into the cinematic (not in-game) it seizes up, win7 gives an error, and the screen turns black.
Funny thing is, I never had any of the problems with this game that I heard reports of when it first came out. Ironic that I was really getting into this DLC to have it randomly do this to me.

Mass Effect 2 PC Technical Support (Spoilers Warning)
This forum is for fans and owners of Mass Effect 2 on the PC to assist each other with technical questions. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts, but fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here. This forum is for ME2 support, please use the ME1 technical support forum for ME1 tech issues.
Complain here as much as you want about it being ignored. All the posters here have failed to take heed of the forum description, and have all failed to read the "Read First" thread and post the information that is required for us other game owners to help diagnose the problem.
That thread is found here;

This is a little late but I found a fix for PC players. When in the Shadow Brokers lair, save your game after you've done all you've wanted in there. Then go download Gibbed's Save Editor (http://mod.gib.me/ma...eedit_rev25.zip) and once it's downloaded, open it up and open your latest save game file. Then go to the "Raw" tab and click the plus symbol by "position" and change the Base Level Name to "BioP_Nor" (without quotations, of course) and change the X, Y, and Z to zero. You'll end up by the Normandy's weapons room, where Garrus is standing (or at least that's where it put me) and you're free to go and play as if you left the ship normally. Unfortunately every time you enter Shadow Brokers place you have to repeat this method which is a little annoying but hey, it's better than being stuck lol.

Oops wrong forum. But may be helpful for people who complete the Shadow Broker mission but are unable to go back to the Normandy.

I am getting the exact same issue as the original poster - I have had no other issues with anything I have done or downloaded so far. Simply when I exit the building, the cute scene plays where Liara and the spectre are shooting at each other. That finishes, the wee green loading CD flashes up for a few seconds. And then I get a non moving, non targetting Spectre and Liara standing around wanting to initiate a conversation as if I have killed the Spectre
These are my specs
Playing Physical Disc install
Mass Effect2.exe v1.02
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
CPU: Intel Core 15 M450 @ 2.4ghz
RAM: 4GB
Video Card: Intel® HD Graphics VRAM: 1.67 GB
Audio: Speakers (Conexant CX20671 SmartAudio HD)
DirectX: DirectX 10.0 (Mar2009) or later
Hope someone can shed some new light on this. Frustrating as I have played thru before with ZERO issues, and brought the DLC to enchance the game further. Have had the DLC installed from the start of this playthru

Or I could just turn off all graphical features and restart the mission and it was sweet...

xenodyne, I was having the same problem as you. I tried multiple things to fix the car chase scene but removing and reinstalling the DLC and playing it at low resolution in a window with graphical options turned down or off worked for me. After the cutscene I put everything back to the way it was. No more problems. Hope this helps.

Necropost ftw, but wow, I'm really surprised to see that this issue has been discussed more than a year ago and its still not fixed... >.>

Since a terrible tinker toy chip such as any of Intel's video crap isn't supported, it is no wonder it doesn't work at all correctly.
