Iiiiiinteresting. Hope we get to explore a substantial amount of Kirkwall, it sounds neat. And the Darktown tidbit dropped at the end sounds neat.

Woot! Bummer that putting "darktown" into the URL didn't unlock lore ipsum or whatever that filler is called. :-D
Ah, the DAO site!

Why are the docks always the shady part of town?

Yes, I love multi-level cities. Just like Taris from KOTOR.

Hopefully a little more interesting than Taris. Ugh. Why did both KOTOR games start on such low points?

I wonder if it will be anything like flea bottom from George R.R. Martin's books.

Evidently Mt Penatubo erupted over Thedas and blotted out the sun. The dark gritty world of DA2 will be totally depressing as the skies will never ever be a cheery blue again.
I realize that I am most likely jumping to conclusions, but I sure hope that there will be beautiful areas in DA2.

While I appreciate the concept art, which is quite nice... doesn't look much like a shanty town to me.
