Pragia and Purgatory

Now granted this is partially due to bad handling by the delivery person(who leaves cardboard out in pouring rain?) bad shipping estimates by the postal service, and the weather. But honestly, I put this ultimately all down to the Biowarestore and it's continued crap packaging systems.
I also ordered a Saren/Garrus mini set, which also arrived Saturday and was left out in the same storm, and was even left out outside the Pragia/Purgatory box, so the mini litho box took even more water beating down on it. However it's box had a more water resistant coating, and the minis where decently packaged with a cardboard sheet between them and fully encased in a plastic envelope. They were completely undamaged, no water saturation or ill effects of any kind. However the actually limited lithos, those are just shoved in a cheap, piece of crap cardboard wrapper with no foam, no plastic, nothing at all to protect them in any way from dents, rough handling or in this case, water damage. Yeah, that makes sense .
I'm sorry, I try to cut the Biowarestore some slack, and thought they were doing the best they could, but this has gone beyond totally unacceptable. This is bushleage BS at the highest level. I've owned my own comic and collectible shop for years, and I ship out a ton of comics, posters, prints, all kinds of things, and it took me about 2 weeks to understand that I had to have a stable, durable and extremely protective shipping method for all my merchandise. We did a little research, and within a few days we had extremely high quality shipping and packaging methods down. In the 4 almost 5 years since, we've had pretty much a non existent complaint or damage rate, and that includes thousands of orders.
The Biowarestore has had more than a year and it's worse now than ever. Plus, we just went through all this crap the last time, with all the damaged Normandy lithos, the replacements went out with the old foam packaging which for the most part worked, that should have been lesson learned. But no, they go right back to the carboard only wrap around crap that offers no protection at all from anything. On top of that, the store saw fit to jack up the litho price by 25% without any difference in product quality of any kind, and make the shipping packages less and less acceptable.
I'm fed up. I've bought so much Bioware merchanise over the years it isn't even funny, hats, coffee mugs, posters, lithographs, statues, shirts, you name it. I love Bioware and will always buy thier games, but I've reached the line where I can no longer stand by and support the store. This is the 3rd straight release that I've had damaged or destroyed lithographs due simply to terrible packaging, and about the 6th or 7th issue I've had over the last 12 months.
Jedi, I know this all isn't your fault if any of it. I don't mean to come down on you specifically at all, you've been very gracious on these boards and I appreciate that. I just feel this has got to stop, the store needs to get it's act together.

My lithographs arrived today and i'm going to have to return them. one corner of the package is caved in and you can see the lithographs sticking out and on one edge there is about a inch long gash and you can see that the lithographs are torn.
Open a support case and take pictures (before opening the package if possible) of the damage. Also, post about damages in this thread http://social.biowar...0/index/5083998

Wow, first crop of $150 "SOLD OUT" Purg/Prag are up on ebay. I don't have a problem with people selling lithos, but I wouldn't mind seeing the BS block people who lie about recently released ones being sold out on ebay.
I reported them and provided a link to the bioware store. That's false advertising...

If it bugs you, its for good reason. They are stating that the lithos are sold out, when they're not in an attempt to raise the value. This is fraud. Report the listing to ebay. The more of us that do it, the more seriuosly they'll take it. I don't have any problem with people selling the lithos too, but lying about it being sold out is fraud.

Shep- Understand your frustration. Disappointed to hear your order was left out in the rain. I have a call with the warehouse today to hopefully get this sorted out. The Character three packs being released on Friday will be ploy-bagged with a chip board backing and additional packing. I'll update on whats happening when I have more information.
Thanks Jedi. Like I said, I know the package being left out is not anything to do with the store, It's just an idiot delivery person, but the packaging has to be better and should have been better for some time now. If you say the new character lithos will be poly bagged and chip board supported, that's a huge step in the right direction, and I'll at least give the store one more chance.
Packaging is so critical in keeping items in the best condition possible upon us recieving them, and it's just sadly a recurring issue that is not being handled well, and I'm not talking just the lithos. Almost every issue I've had with orders from the store is related to bad packaging. You or customer service always handles it well, but it is so frustrating to order stuff and have it arrive badly damaged or completely destroyed when it could have easily been prevented. I really hope you guys can get a handle on it soon. Thanks for the update and it's good to see some serious effort is going into the problem.

Are these issues with international shipping? According to the order email the domestic shipping is handled by the USPS. It's still in transit to me...
You are correct, it is USPS. I just forgot one "S".
I've sent a bunch of pics to cutomer service (who were quick to respond). The bummer is, in lieu of sending them back they asked that I tear the signature and numbered portion off and take a pic. It's sad to destroy them even further. But, I guess they are useless anyway if sent back.
I had pretty low numbers on both too (70 and 85).

Any chance they'll go up along with the 3 packs? I was hoping to get the 3 pack with a Purgatory and maybe another Pragia to save on shipping and because there's a less chance they'll be set in poor packing material.fainmaca wrote...
Are there still some Prag/Purg liths to be had? I'd like to get a set, but was away from my net from the day before they were announced until today. As I live in a different time zone, I'm obviously anxious to make sure I get my order in before they all vanish.

You can always send the store an email and ask. I've requested them to merge orders before to save on shipping costs. They're very helpful and reply with in a day or two.
