Pardon my ignorance here and a bit of a lengthy post trying to explain what happened. I'm posting to this forum as I figure it was a mod created with the toolset that has broken a aspect of my game (avatar customization and selection on the character creation screen) and figure that with the Mod community's help and depth of expierence, hopefully a answer to my dilemma can be found. I'm rather new to games where community added content enhances game play, but DAO and the community has seized my fascination and I want to explore as much as possible.
My problem. When I want to create a new character in DAO 1.4 I can't see a avatar. I can select classes, back stories, stats, everything else, but I in no way, shape, or form am able to see the avatar in the character creation section of the game. Once I load the game after the character is created, I have a avatar, but its not at all to my choosing
Obviously, it was one of the mods I downloaded and installed, and I have learned from the experience now to install them one at a time at least as far as being able to retain the integrity of character creation goes
1) Is it possible to identify the culprit mod that is causing this inability to see a avatar during the character creation stage?
2) If the answer to Q-1 above is yes, will simply uninstalling it restore my ability to once more see the avatar and customize it as per normal?
3) If uninstalling the mod is not enough to restore being able to customize the avatar, how do I repair the installation of the game to where it is restored? Will I need to do a full reinstall of the game client or is there a way to repair only what is broken?
