Howdy!  A pair of my (real-life) friends are participating in the Extra Life charity event where gamers help to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network by playing video games!  They have decided to play three Bioware games - Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age/Mass Effect 2 for 24 hours in their efforts to raise money for children's medicine.

If you have some spare money (what, what's that, I know) and feel like donating to a good cause, please think about chipping in some for this very worthy event, or maybe some day in the future trying to participate yourself!

There are a lot of us here, and the sites accept any amount of donations - so even if it's just a couple of bucks that you can spare, I know the kids would appreciate it!  Lauren, the KotoR player, is also offering Vent passcodes to donors so that you can listen to her slowly devolve into a sleep-deprived, delerious mess and so you can make her make decisions she doesn't want to make.
