I recently got a used old 51 inch HD TV and hooked my X box up.

I will celebrate that with my game i suppose.

I'll dim the lights. Turn my phone off. Turn the volume up. Fine-tune my 3D settings - and start the install. While it's installing I'll call all my friends to tell them it's installing. Then when the install's finished - I'll play until the early morning!

i will be getting out of school at 10pm... >.< i'll probably get my pre-order from gamestop during one of my class breaks. maybe start the install, go back to skool, get skool done... play till sumtime in the morning like 5am. sleep for 2 hours... be good for class @ 9am (i have to install it as im getting the PC version, and i have breaks between classes, hence i am in college )

Well, as it will be released on the 6th in Europe and as I have preordered it on amazon.co.uk there is a good chance it won't be delivered until the 9th (as I am living in Germany). So when it's finally here, I'll go shopping and get everything I'll be needing for the next...let's say 5 days. Food, beer, maybe some wine, tobacco, beer, 3 packs of M&Ms (the good ones with nuts), coffee...did I already mention beer?

I'll celebrate by not finishing my two research papers: Development of Turkish Identity in Germany and the comparison of the situation of the Turkish minority in Germany with the North African Minority in France.  I'm sure I'll finish, they'll just have some Dragon Age overtones... my papers will end up being the Development of Elven Identity in Ferelden.

I'm going to hope we get the shipment into the store early so I don't have to wait for it to show up. If it's not there before the 3rd I'll get the manager to call me and let me know when it shows up. Then I'll run in and grab it and drive home cackling the whole way.



I'm going to crack open my Domaine du Grand Tinel Cuvée Alexis Establet Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2005 (super fancy wine) that I've been saving for 3 years. This is a proper occasion for it. I'll drink while it installs and if I overdo it, they'll be 2 PCs on my screen battling darkspawn

@kazic284 A super fancy wine for a super brilliant game? I like that idea! Also, that's a pretty neat way to have two screens without spending money on the second one. Alas, when I'm seeing double I'd be so wasted the Grey Wardens would probably rather send me home to sober up than let me join their ranks. Considerate drinking is more like a marathon than a 100 meter sprint. Had to learn that the hard way when I was younger. ;-)

Just recently I upgraded my computer from the original plan of "a new graphic card" to "oh no, this is getting way out of budget". That's my celebration.

I'll probably wait until I get the strategy guide, sit there debating about whether I should open it and potentially spoil the plot of the game before popping the disk in, getting a bottle of coke, and playing.

Unless I have a job by then, in which case I'll probably agonize about how I could be playing the game all day before running home and being like: "Did it come in the mail yet????"

I'm going to buy a lot of drugs. Mainly coke, speed and ecstasy. Ecstasy because it makes me feel good, speed so I can keep on going and finish the game in one sitting and coke just for the hell of it. Then I will settle into a week long drug induced Dragon Age session.
