What sort of strength requirement is there for the mid-level swords? Say, something a level 15 rogue would want? Do the most powerful 1-handed swords have high str requirements? 

I'm just wondering if I need to pump up Zevran's strength some more...

I've been reading that Dex doesn't contribute to damage dagger due to a bug, and that there are no good daggers in the game past the beginning levels. That's why I'm looking to push Zevran into wielding two swords.

I believe the best swords require around 30 strength to use. You should have that much strength and more by your level if you want your rogue to have good damage output. The only acceptable dagger for offhand is The Roses Thorn. If you have money, the 1H axe you purchase from the vendor is probably the best MH weapon. It cost quite a lot though. I can't recall the name at the moment. Starts with a V. I finished the game using that axe and The Roses Thorn. Starfang 1H would make an excellent OH or MH as well but lacks the rogue friendly stats of the items I mentioned previously.

well orzammar seels atleast 2 times the dragonbone dagger with 3 rune slots.

stuff that up with paralyze and + damage..

and u get owning backstab crits.. without worrying about str/swords
