Alright, so i was creating my level and it came the time to start adding lights to it.
I had several weird problems after rendering the lightmaps. A lot of dark areas and objects. So, out of a test, i tried to render the lightmaps for one of the SP Module Areas that bioware shares with us.
I tried to render the lightmaps for Den401d.lvl, it is Arl Eamons mansion on Denerim. Well, after i did this, the same problems that happens in my custom level happens in this standard one. Black parts and objects.
The single thing i can think about this is that my installation have an issue, or i have the wrong version of somethig? After all the standard level was used on the game itself right?
Here's how my installation is:
I have the Tolset version 1.0.1008.0 installed
I installed the ActiveState Python 2.5.5.7 just as recommended in the DA Builder Wiki
I have EclypseRay v1.2, just as it shows when i start the Lightmap rendering
In my research, i concluded that i have everything at the lastest and/or recommended versions. I am as of now, completely able to generate a level, render the lightmaps and export the level with no problems at all, despite some warnings...
Is there something else i should be configuring in my workstation that i am not aware of?
Do you guys know any solution for lightning problems, that i may not be aware of?
Thanks!
Lightning - I think have a problem in my install! Help-me!

screenshots are always helpful in diagnosing a problem. Your problem is probably one of the following:
infrequent black shapes - you are seeing the same old lightmap bug we all get.
frequent black shapes everywhere - you have the exported files in your override folder and are creating a new set of lightmaps, causing a conflict between the two sets. delete your exported files from your override.
for some troubleshooting bits, see here:

Hi again,
Well, after some work done, i have all of my problems solved! \\o/
deleting previous lightmaps before re-rendering the level pretty mutch solved alsmost all the problems i had. However, some floor tiles were yet showing some weird black triangles.
To solve these last problems, i used this: http://social.biowar...m/project/2637/
Their are fixes for lightmap calculation in some of the meshes that come with the toolset.
Thanks!

It seems the lightmapper likes making strange shadows, try using a ambient baked light, and weaken the point lights. Are your triangles completely black, even with a ambient baked light?
