Yes I know, I must be annoying but I encountered an odd display issue.  While playing the game I found a cloak of protection +2 so I think "cool new item for my squishy allies" so I equip it on them and move along.  Later on I find a better cloak for them and its offensive benefits outweigh the armor bonus so I take it, this is where the problem occurs.  When I put it on my character the cloak is invisible.  I mean it looks like I didn't have a cloak on at all, so I tested a theory, I put on a cloak of elvenkind and it appears on my characters back, then using some cheat codes I spawned all cloaks of protection, including the nasher cloak, and for some reason they turn invisible and I can't see them.

Its not a MAJOR issue but it is kind of annoying, since above all else I want my character to look cool and such with her neverwinter nine tunic.

I think the problem is with that tunic.  It doesn't show Cloak Variation 6.  All the Cloaks of Protection are Variation 6.  Worse than that, though - so is the Neverwinter Knight's Cloak.  My "solution" was to make a new NK Cloak using a different model (#5).

No, its not the tunic, just checked again, the cloaks of protection aren't shown on my character at all.  Though I can see them fine on my party.  Even tried several different armors and i'm getting the same result, they just don't show while my character is wearing it, hell they won't even show up with no armor on.

Please don't be offended if I insult you with the obvious, but have you tried emptying your override folder? A lot of custom clothing content conflicts with the stock stuff in bizarre ways.

Don't worry i'm not offended, and true that would be a pretty good idea as to why they wouldn't work.  But the thing is I don't have ANY custom content/mods/maps or anything like that on my games, such things don't really interest me.  Even started a new game with a moon elf priest, since I wanted a cool cloak on her I went to debugmode and got the cloak you get when Nasher gives you the knight rank.  And it doesn't show up either, neither does finch's comforting cloak.

Does this game have something against my elven characters?  Since these cloaks show up fine on my human and half-elf characters.

As you are able to wear the NW9 tunic, I asume your character is multi-classed, whereas the companions are all single-classed?

NWN2 has a slight issue with displaying items in the character sheet of a multi-classed character, however, the items are still equipped. Unless you are not seeing the AC bonus of the Cloaks of Protection in the character sheet - even if you do not see the Cloak itself - I would suggest this is what you are experiencing. Sometimes simply reloading can make the items 'reappear' on the character sheet.
