[Kordor]

Heya,

I have got problems logging into the multplayer section of the game. I have NWN2 and MotB installed and patched to the newest version.

As you can see I also have an Account here. Though I have to admit that I am a little confused about the old Bioware Forums, the new Bioware Forums, the EA Login any maybe any additional logins. In addition there is not really an overview of all that (getting DA:O DLCs was also a pain). Had best experience using google on Bioware Sites to find what I was looking for.

Anyways: When I try to login with my Forum name (which I obviously have) and the password I have here (Kordor), it fails (name or pw wrong). Logging in with my Email as Account name it fails as well, as it does not want the special characters, therefore it should be "Kordor" or a normal user name in general.

So my next thought was, that there is some kind of parralel Account for NWN2 and tried to create a new account (as Kordor) and it says that the username already exists. If I want to create an account with my alternative username (as Kordanor) I get the error message that the username already exists with a differen PW or a different mail address.

So it would be great if I could get any assistance here.

The new forums use a different account system than the in-game community accounts. You should be able to create a community account from the login screen in-game.

The account here is for Dragon Age, you should just go in game, and create a new account with ta new name and password. ( The old forums which are locked down use this account, but this forum is replacing the older accounts which were used for NWN1, NWN2 and Baldur's Gate ). The login you use here has nothing to do with what is in the NWN2 game.

You might have already done this before, or someone might have chosen the name you want, most names are taken by someone. If you did it yourself a long time ago you might just need to remember the password but you likely need to come up with something new.

Oh and be nice to yourself and don't use oddball characters like spaces, dashes, underscores or other even more exotic characters. Stick to a-Z and 0-9 only.

I have a user name from the old community forums and it wouldn't work for NWN2. I know I am putting in the correct information because I can log into the old site just fine.

Do you have spaces, accents, extended characters or other oddities in your account name or password.



I would suggest creating a new account in game and seeing how that works.

Whatever is wrong is not going to get fixed unless you change something you are doing, i'd do it in game.

This game isn't going to get any more support. The suggestion of making a new account is the best you're going to get.
