I was wondering about something: is it possible to use shadow keeper to
alter your fighter/mage/thief character so that those classes would correspond to class kits you would like to use? So if I want to play for example Kensai/Conjurer/Swashbuckler, what should I do in SK to properly change FMT base class? And is something like this doable at all with sk?

Tnx for any feedback ;)

The BG2 game engine is restricted to only one specialist class. So you can be a Kensai/Mage/Thief for example, but not all three.

Whenever I have a multi-classed character I will normally give them a specialist class via Shadow Keeper of Level 1 NPCs.

You could try your hand at installing the Multikit Builder mod, available over at Spellhold Studios. I'm using it at the moment in my current play-through.

(In fact, I'm playing an Illusionist / Assassin. My partner's playing a Wild Mage / Swashbuckler... her character is just too cool.)

Tnx for the suggestuion, it sounded awesome at first but unfortunately the mod just won't install :P All I get is this message over and over, every time I try to install it:

Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

EDIT: I'll ask the guys at spellhold, seems more logical :)

Yeah, sorry... I'm not a modder. I just know that the version I've got works.

The only suggestions I can think of are to make sure your game is patched (v26498), and to try installing the G3 Fixpack before the Multikit Builder.

You could also try upgrading to the latest version of WeiDU. Scroll down to the bottom of that page I've linked to and download WeiDU v220. When you've done that, extract 'WeiDU.exe' from the archive into your install folder. When you click on 'setup-m7multikit.exe' again it should auto-upgrade.

[EDIT] I can also upload my 'WeiDU.log' if you like, although I'm not sure how much help it'll be.
