I was in the middle of a mass effect2 game last night. This morning I tried to resume the game and was first greeted by a logon screen for the cerberus network ( as if I had never played before and had to open a new account). Then when I tried to log on to my account I instead was signed up to a new account using my original email address (how is that possible? Was my oringinal account deleted?) And now wnen I was asked to fill in my cerberus account promo code I get a message saying that code is already in use. How did everything get so screwed up? The cerberus promo code is already in use but unavailable to me?

Any time you have an "Account" problem, that is the SITE here that is involved, not the game itself, and there is a separate Help Forum for the site that has somewhat more frequent oversight from some Bioware people, unlike this place where you posted this.

The saves situation is different, but I personally have never had any such problem, and wouldn't take any bets that I could guess what went wrong there.
