So is anyone excited for the new Fallout game? I know I'am I spent so many hour from Fallout 3 and even some on the older ones. so anything you hope they added or taken away? For me I just hope they had more side missions and a lot of different cities I felt like Fallout 3 didn't have enought.

I've not kept up with the diaries, but I am excited about it. It looks great, and I'm really curious to see what Obsidian have done with it.

Nah, I was just wondering.
Whenever I watch those developer diaries, I get even more excited. Same with the AC:B diares but that is a different story

The only downside is that I am going to get exactly NOTHING productive done next week.

It looks great and I'm really excited about getting my grubby hands on it. The display at PAX was really cool and I'm glad that I got to check it out (even if I missed out on the NCR shirts) I ended up logging so many hours into F3 I'm not sure I'll be able to even touch anything else that I'm getting this month.
I don't know if anyone here has done the pre-order on it but if you're not completely hell bent on digital content K-Mart has a great special... it's basically you buy the coaster set for $5 and you get a $15 coupon to use on any game (stackable) during the week New Vegas comes out and then upon purchase of F:NV you get another $20 coupon to use on another game which is pretty sweet.

I like how they gave the companions back stories. Rex, ED-E and Lily look really interesting.

Yeah, the companions this time around seem to be a lot better in about every ways like how each will give you a special bonus.

I love how the voice-acting is more diverse. And the companions sure seem to have had a lot of depth put into them.

I'm fairly skeptical about this release. I really wish they had used a new engine.
I hope it's good though.

The engine doesn't make a game good the story does

I can forgive it for the lack of new engine. After all, they started this game around 2009 if I'm correct and this is more like something to keep us busy until Fallout 4 comes.
