I'm sort of half thankful I won't be playing it for a month or so. One of my big problems with FO3 was how it constantly crashed on me (It's sort of fixed, now), and I can see myself getting frustrated if NV does it as much as the reviews state (I doubt it, though) as it's boot the system back up and then load Steam etc.
Will be keeping my eyes on reviews, though, but I have a feeling that Obsidian have "done it" with NV.
Shorter is not automatically worse. Less fetch quests, filler combat, repetitive dungeon crawling = good in my book.Brockololly wrote...
While DA2 may be shorter than DAO, its nice to hear that New Vegas actually seems to have more quests and more content than even Fallout 3.

FO3 didn't have many sidequests, but each one of them was unique and usually one had to do a lot of exploring in order to even get them.

I have only run into one bug that I couldn't work around and it was extremely trivial.
At some point a particular NPC gives you access to a sort of player house. You can access a computer to upgrade it by buying things, except the GUI glitches out and in my case I was unable to "purchase" an upgrade. I had to exit the menu.
My most consistent problem now is that any suitably busy area - in terms of NPCs - slows to an absolute crawl. The Vegas strip is a slideshow.
Gameplay wise, I have no complaints.

Am I the only one who doesn't have this yet? I got super saver shipping and it says it won't come until saturday.

I'm in England so it's not released here until the 22nd. Apparently it's shipped, though, so it should be here this week.Nameless one7 wrote...

Fallout 3 was rather short though, so it's only fair to hope that Obsidian added more of, well, everything.Brockololly wrote...

Steamworks has a few other uses, though. Streamlines PC content delivery, reduces the variables with troubleshooting, and so forth. They'll only have to make the one patch to be distributed across Steam, and they can use the store for DLC.Nerevar-as wrote...
Steam DRM? Can live with that, but I wished they would see how pointless DRM is.

I assure you it is not a hardware issue. Unless it's incompatibility/poor optimization. The horses are there, they just aren't being used properly.
