I've noticed a technical issue with the PC version. When I'm traveling along the Mojave desert sometimes the game will randomly lock up for about 10 seconds as if it's about to freeze and then everything will go back to normal.
I'm playing the game on near max settings. I set the anti-aliasing down a little bit since it was slowing down the game during the VATS menu. Anyone know if there is a solution to this problem?

Sometimes that happens to me on the console too.  I think that it's just loading at those times.  I may try installing the disc to speed it up.

Hey guys I need help I've looked all around online for it and I think I may have encountered my first glitch of FRUSTATION.









*VERY VERY MINOR SPOILERS*

I am currently in Vault 22, I have the data and I want to find Keely. I have been through the entire vault, and I have searched the cavern a million times where she is supposed to be. Nobody there. Is there anywhere else she can be found the first time (not after you accept the quest, I havent met her yet) because I am OCD with side quests in games. I need to finish them all!

With all the venus fly traps and mantis' right? Yeah. She is not there Woe is me! I even tried clipping outside the walls to see if she fell through somehow, LOL.

I haven't done Vault 22, so, this may or may not be helpful... but it was a similar situation, at least.

I just completed Vault 3, which is involved in a non-quest to rescue some NCR dude named Anders. I killed all the Fiends and looked everywhere for him. (I have the worst luck with Vaults!!) So, finally I looked it up. He was supposed to be in a room that I KNOW I'd been in, and I was supposed to heal him with a doctors kit or something. I even went back and looked around - no Anders. So, I finally left and went back to McCarren, and lo 'n behold - he had made it back on his own. What?

So, I would maybe recommend making a save, and running back to the lady who asked you to find Keely. Maybe she made her way back on her own, like Anders did for me?

I can't promise this will happen. Sorry if it didn't work. I am off to Vault 22 soon (Uggh vaults!), maybe after I go do "I Forgot to Remember to Forget" with Boone.

Reloaded, rebooted. It's glitched. Sigh. Also, you can't get a quest to find Keely, you just find her.

Finding her [optional] is part of another quest to investigate Vault 22 and then she'll ask you for help.

Just now entered vault 22 on my way to find Keely (There Stands the Grass). I just saw the elevator - 5 floors? I think I am not gonna like this. *shakes fist* Damn you vaults!

Okay, I totally stand corrected. Vault 22 is really fun so far. I am going through with my Flamer like Ripley in Aliens. Whoo!

What's the best house/suite? I just ran the hell out of the Lucky 38 presidential suite after experiencing a few bugs and hearing of some game-breaking bugs.

I am also interested to see if anyone else has found a better place. I am still living out of the motel at Novac, because I'm too scared of the bugs at the Lucky 38. I don't even bring my companions up there, because I've heard they may disappear.

The only place I've found other than the Lucky 38 is the room in the Atomic Wrangler they give you after finishing one of the quest.



And yeah, Rex is pretty bad ass but I started using ED-E again because I favor automatic guns and he was eating too many bullets, lol.

Eeesh, I give up. I've been running around Freeside talking to Butch clones, but can't for the life of me find Gun Runners. *embarrassed* Where the hell are they?

Just hug the wall on your right as you come out of Freeside East. As you reach the south end it will curve away to the right and there should be a guy with a stall, bot inside. You can play Caravan with him as well.

I'm finding that hardcore is an annoyance. The difficulty is fine at normal now as long as you have a companion, but you still get slayed by Cazadores and Deathclaws instantly. It's also not logical how your companion can slay enemies with a few shots while you use half your ammo on 'em.



Have not encountered a glitch with the Lucky 38 suite (yet), except Rex was missing once.If you ask them to leave someplace out of town they will have to travel slowly from far away so they eventually show up perhaps.Also if you accidentally talk to Victor before heading in, they will permanently wait downstairs outside until you talk to each of them. Ditto with picking them up from the Prez Suite, going up to Penthouse, they will not follow you when you leave the building.
