The music from Nipton is obviously from 1 and 2. Kind of haunting.Crippledcarny wrote...
I noticed there's background music once you turn off the radio. have no idea if it was from 1 or 2.

I've come across more glitches in any 1 of Obsidians games than I should have in any 10 other major releases. Completely unacceptable, and I will no longer be buying their games.

I haven't really experienced many bugs (PC version). Occasionally enemies glitch into walls or each other, but nothing too game-breaking yet.

ED-E starts in Primm, but you have to fix him. I don't have the science (feeling really limited on my points this time, but whatever) so no robot for me.LegendaryAvenger wrote...
When can you get two companions? I always thought you can get two humanoid companions when you complete the first-half main quest (IE. Looking for your dad in F3, finding the water chip F1)
You can get a dog companion by helping the King in Freeside. Have to do a lot of quests beforehand, they don't make it easy to recruit this time.

Yeah but in the other fallouts, you can get more than that after you do something... Is it different in this game?Crippledcarny wrote...
You can get one humanoid companion and one robot, either ED-E or Rex. It's just a matter of finding them.

So, random question... do companions suffer from radiation poisoning? I ask because I feel I have enough radaway now to finally go do the Camp Searchlight quests and want to know if I can be totally unrealistic and bring Boone be an extra gun and suffer absolutely no consequences for it (and not have to share my precious radaway)... or if I'd better just make him wait on the outskirts of the camp until I finish my bid-ness?
And the game freeze issues on PS3 are incredibly annoying. Had that with Fallout 3 as well and no patches ever seemed to fix it. Seems the exact same thing is the case here, too... although at least I can play longer spells before the inevitable hard freeze (whereas Fallout 3 I could only play 2 to 2 1/2 consecutive hours before I could expect a hard freeze that could only be resolved by hard resetting the system).

I had a party of Fawkes, Charon and Dogmeat close to the battle of the Jefferson memorial.Crippledcarny wrote...
I think you could only get one in Fallout 3, if I'm not mistaken.

You could have Dogmeat plus one humanoid, though there were glitches which allowed you to get more than that. I took advantage of the Fawkes glitch to keep Charon and him both, because I liked 'em both too much to part.Crippledcarny wrote...

I don't think they do. I haven't been to Camp Searchlight yet but I've taken Boone through some other hot spots and he never seems to feel a thing, and didn't use the RadAway I gave him.DragonRacer13 wrote...

I had this weird little glitch with Boone where when I transferred some items to his inventory, he stopped wearing his shades and beret. Had them in his inventory and wasn't wearing anything new, just took them off. I reloaded, because I couldn't have that!!!

So I finally went to clear out Quarry Junction and it was pretty crazy. Hit the Deathclaw Mother in the face with a mini nuke and she just blinked at me before ripping off my head.
