I have scoured the internet for videos and any new infermation for the past month over this game. I've had it preordered for a while now. Its preloaded on my computer and I am CONSTANTLY watching the steam page watching that timer 2 days and 16 hours.
Assuming work doesn't work me over too much on monday (pun intended) I'm doing an all nighter.
Another vid.
I am interested how this guy is playing the game now.
I was ready to say seen it already but new videos are always welcome and I'm glad he left spoilers out.
But I'm having a hard time believing its legit when the game isn't avaliable to play till tuesday.
He probably leaked it. Speaking of leaked games, I've already seen a leaked playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas here. Just start on page 3.
I already finished part 1(which is two hours long). The intro is far more better than the last game and it has an atmosphere to it that I think is far more stronger than the last game. Plus, the characters are more likable. Voice acting is also better.

Could you tell from what you saw in the vids if they recycled the same voices for multiple characters as much as they did in F3??? I never played the previous Fallout's but i think Oblivion was the same way. Maybe its a thing with Bethesda...i was just hoping they would get more voice actor's this time....

Well, I did seem to hear a lot of different voices from each character. Most of them seemed to have their own unique voice and I recently watched a Developer Diary today that went into this extensively and from there I also noticed some very good voice-acting coming from voice-acters that are new to the series, excluding Ron Perlman of course(he's the Narrator of the Fallout franchise). So yes, they use different voice-actors. And it's much more fun listening to them than the people at, let's say, Rivet City.
I'm sure you'll also be happy to know that the dialogue is much better this time around. More fluid. More realistic.

Oh god, please no. I also hope that ghouls and mutants get new, individual voices. It was annoying how Charon and Fawkes sounded like any other Super Mutant Psychopath or underworld citizen.VanguardOfDestruction wrote...

The voice-acting is much more better this time around from what I've seen. Also, there are a lot more animations this time around. Some have simply been upgraded.
I could be wrong about the voice-acting though. I've only been 2 hours and over 30 minutes into the playthrough, but so far, it's all been fresh.

While I was watching the playthrough, there was one Super Mutant with his own individual voice. Though I haven't heard any other Super Mutant besides the two that I heard on the radio during the second part of the playthrough.

33 voice actors listed http://fallout.wikia...as_voice_actors
and thats just what we know of so far.
obvious choice like Ron Perlman for narration as always.
Wayne Newton replacing Three dog on the radio (and honestly you can't do something about Vegas without Mr. Vegas himself.)
Mathew Perry as a ganster boss type (heard he's the same guy who shoots you at the beginning.. HAHA huge departure from Chandler)
Zachery Levi best known as Chuck will be one of the companions you can pick up (lets get Miranda for the other one HEHE)
Felicia Day (The Guild) I love The Guild and I still remember her being a potential slayer in Buffy's last season.
Danny Trejo Oh hell yes Mr. Machete himself this will be badass.
Kris Kristofferson.... do I even need to say it?
Micheal Dorn Worf from what I understand is reprising a role from Fallout 2 (an intelligent Super Mutant ooooo)
Rene Auberjonois (best known as Odo from Star Trek DS9) Will be Mr. House himself.
and thats just the people on that list I recognize... Yeah I think its safe to say this is a better cast.

And yeah, if they are getting more people to voice people....they need more voices for the "other" human-like species, like Ghouls. Also, more than 1 voice for male and female Raiders would be welcome. Man, i just cant wait for Tuesday to roll around!

Fallout fact: Marcus and Lily were both in the Master's army (Fallout 1).After the Master's plans were destroyed by the vault dweller. Marcus then wandered the wasteland, was attacked by a BoS member named Jacob, befriended him and founded Broken Hills and even Jacobstown (Unconfirmed). He then occompanied the Chosen one. Lily was a nightkin who is now in Jacobstown like Marcus in Fallout New Vegas.
Just some Fallout history for those of you who haven't played the originals^_^

Here's Fallout 2:
I was going to bring up a picture of that guy in Fallout: New Vegas, but other than that, I don't know. I do know that there is a Nightkin that is your companion in this game so perhaps it's Lily? I'll go find a link to the page of the Fallout: New Vegas Wiki where it listed the voice-actors. Also, I'll make sure to listen to the radio more on the playthrough and try to identify them.
