I never figured out how to equip different types of ammo. I'm sure it's something really dumb and obvious. (PC version)
Just press "2" to switch beetween the different types of ammo.
I simply love this game one of the best RPGs of the decade for sure.

So I finally got my hands on supposedly the best armor in the game after a stealthly death claw massacre & a walk through a Legendary Cazador. I still can't believe people think this armor is cool. I still think all power armor in the Fallout series is ugly as hell.
TB-51 PA is stylish.

Argh, that's why 2 was never available as a hotkey. That messed up my system from FO3, 2 was always my sidearm key. Anyway, thanks.
Totally threw me off as well. I'm on PS3, so it's one of my hot buttons on the directional pad. Took me forever to figure out why I couldn't hot key an item to the "up" direction. That was always the place for my first weapon of choice.
Tell you what, having different ammo types may be cool (though I find myself using none of them except armor-piercing when needed), but the mapping of that for PS3 was quite unfortunate. Whenever I try to select a weapon I have hot-slotted in the upper right or upper left-hand corners of the D-pad, my character usually ends up switching ammo types several times before I FINALLY hit it just right to actually switch to the weapon I want. Grrrr.

Yep I think that might have been the highlight of the game. I could listen to Kris Kristofferson all day.Leinadi wrote...
Man, I just completed the sidequest involving Chief Hanlon. While the quest itself is kinda crappy compared to a lot of other ones (whole lot of running back and forward to various locations), the ending was just sad as hell. Not only is Hanlon very well written, he's superbly voiceacted.
That part was a highlight, and encountering Cook-Cook. I actually made a version of his stew last weekend. I know, too geek for words. But it was damn good, if I do say so myself.

Also, payback's a *****, huh Legion!?
Nothing like getting back for Camp Searchlight by helping Cottonwood Cove to the same deadly radioactive fate. Though oddly, some of the Legion guys survived and now simply keep staring dumbly at the radioactive waste barrels.

Oh wells. We all have our opinions. I think it's the sexiest armor in the game behind the NCR combat ranger armor.

Haha... I never shot the hookers. Why didn't I think of that. Can you wear their stuff? Actually, I don't think I could have my courier wear those little black tape X's. She's classier than that. Naughty Nightwear all the way, baby.
Speaking of clothing attributes... I wish the NN had an effect on Boone. Yeah I said it.

Anyways, ended the game a third time, this time with Mr House. Again, I'm extremely pleased with the ending slides. It gives great closure, without turning into "happily ever after". A simple stating of the consequences to your actions.
Also, while the main quests for the various factions are sorta different sides of the same coin, it really is quite pleasing to see it all come together in the end. I think going with Mr House might be my fav so far though. I think it has the benefit of one of the best characters in the game, Mr House really seems to be the focal point of what a lot of the game is about. It feels like House was a keystone in the project since day one.
Awesome game.

Yes, it's goulash. I added onions, garlic and a little red pepper paste, so we have the same idea. You have to add something to make up for the lack of those sweet, sweet rads.Morbo wrote...
Cook-Cook fiend stew? Damnit, now I'm getting hungry! Might have to make some myself this weekend. With some added onion and paprika it's basically goulash really, always a favourite of mine.

You have to make the best of a bad situation and put Boone IN the Naughty Nightwear.

Yeah you can lol, and its quite amusing. Especially the one with the boobs out and just the tape over it... And its pretty easy to hide and snipe the ones outside the Gomorrah
My PC looks like a classic 50's pin up, so yes tis a bit wrong lol
And yes, the NN should add beer goggles to Boone. Then maybe he'd forget about that cow and move on to us
