There's some more info here: http://www.bethsoft....r-11.19.10.html

Sounds like it could be interesting but since it's Xbox exclusive (for now, I'm sure it'll come out for the other platforms soon enough) it's a no-go for me atm.

Looks good though, ive loved each one of the fallout DLC thus far. And i assume its a sort of side quest? Or stand alone type DLC?

Seems like it will be similar to stuff like the Pitt where it's a separate area from the rest of the world, but you do it on a normal New Vegas character.

In Arcade's quest, should I ask him to join the remnats? or stay in freeside to get his armor?

LegendaryAvenger: If you're thinking in pure practical terms, then the armor he gives isn't really worth it if I remember correctly. I think the armor you can get from the Remnants themselves is better (might be mistaken about this).

About the casinos, don't think so. And I don't think you get banned from a casino per say, you just get banned from gambling more there.

I have the PC version but I'm thinking about getting the Xbox360 version just so I can play the DLC.

Make a character with a high luck skill, it's pretty easy then as you will almost always have a good hand in blackjack, and you will have more chance of winning in roulette and the slots,

This is why Obisidian letting steam exclusively handling FNV for PC is F__KED. If Game for Windows Live had done this, we PC users would've got this dlc at the same time as the XBOX platform.

It's the publisher (Bethesda) who earns the money from these deals, not Obsidian. The developer gets paid for creating the game, or the DLC in this case.

That said, as much as I think this is really terrible business practice (funny how common it is in gaming to treat customers like dirt), I think I actually prefer having the game on STEAM rather than Games for Windows Live since I had so much problems with that in F3.

I'd tell him to join the remnants. Having the armor only increased my
energy weapon damage by 3, and probably only 1 since i'm on very hard.

"raises hand"  I haven't seen any need to mod, but I also haven't looked into it too much.  Fallout mods are also harder t work with than DA.

*nods at what someone said about GFWL sucking rocks*  Ok, you didn't say it sucked rocks, but I do.  We had horrendous problems with them.  Basically the game became unplayable when the GOTY edition forced us to hook up to them.

Okay, I just had my best facepalm moment ever last night... and I also have a random musing. Both contain spoliers, so considered yourself warned...

My facepalm moment: I'm finally doing the NCR embassy quests. I've pretty much run around and done most of the random wasteland stuff and finally started on the "main quest"-seeming stuff. I was asked to stop some trouble in Freeside and I had already called in my favor with the King (should have known I ought to save that...). So, that meant I had to kill Pacer and make it look like the Van Graffs did it.

So, there I was. Had Boone and Rex waiting halfway down the street out of view. I slip on a stealth boy and sneak my way up to Pacer's room. I ready the tri-beam laser the Brotherhood of Steel gave me. I have Pacer lined up in VATS and nobody has a clue I'm there. The perfect crime. I target him, click fire... and realize, in my utter stupidity, that I had NO MF cells. And then I recalled that not too long before, I had sold them to a random trader because I pretty much never use energy weapons... and I had been drinking heavily by that point in the game in real life, so I just sold the energy weapon ammo for the cash (that I didn;t need at all, really) without even thinking about it (old habit).

*facepalm*

The ironic part was that I got to skip down to Silver Rush and buy the MF cells, then go back and repeat the whole scenario again and pin the blame on the Van Graffs. It's kinda their fault. They did sell me the MF cells I used to kill Pacer and frame them.  Posted Image

Now, my random musing... Benny ran off after I confronted him (I should have killed him, but hindsight's 20-20). Afterwards, douchebag Legion dude from Nipton, Vulpes Inculcuta or something like that (I probably should have killed him back in Nipton, but Ghost said not to be an idiot and attacking a bunch of Legion dudes and their mongrels seemed like that would be an iditoic thing to do by myself at low level), hands me the mark of Caesar.

So, I literally have an audience with the head of the entire Legion and have supposed immunity based on this Mark of Caesar necklace they gave me. That screams "perfect assassination attempt" to me. Even if it's a suicide run. So, I talk to the NCR ambassador at the Strip embassay... no dialogue option. He sends me to Commander Moore over at Hoover Dam (and I'm thinking this has GOT to be nearing the end of things). And I think that surely she would be interested by this sudden development that the person who's been helping NCR suddenly has the chance to go stand in front of Caesar himself. And potnetially KILL HIM. Nope, no dialogue option.

Seriously. Does nobody in NCR care that I have been granted this rare opportunity? Sure, I'm betting it's a total trap and that I have a snowball's chance of actually getting out of there alive... but still, out of everything NCR has done to stop Caesar, how many of them have had the chance to go potentially ring the dude's neck and then run like hell? You'd think SOMEBODY would take an interest in it.

Weird. Just totally weird to me.

Yeah, thats the thing with the NCR storyline. You dont touch the main camp. Just the legates camp only. You'd think they'd want Caesar wiped out.

What i also found weird was i freed Benny from Caesar, and he legged it out of the camp, but when i returned to the Tops after getting the chip etc he was nowhere to be found. That could have made for some interesting dialogue, since i shagged him to get into his quarters...

I'm really, really mad. a few weeks ago, I got the Remnants' power armor along with the T-51b in a deathclaw colony. I found a bunch of eggs that cost 400 caps each but I couldn't haul them because they were soooo heavy. I came back with some companions and every deathclaw body disappeared, along with the eggs. Is there another deathclaw colony I could clear out for it's prized eggs?

There should be a few deathclaw eggs at Quarry Junction as well. Also, there's a small chance to loot them of any deathclaw you kill.

Also, I just found out the Robobrains are voiced by Wil Wheaton. Now everytime I run into one I'm gonna be thinking of Wesley Crusher. Arghh! :(
