Heh, you and I had the same idea, but you are disarmed when you enter the camp so you can do it (and get Benny to join you!) but depending on your level it will be a tough go.  I had to give up and reload.  If I had had high enough stealth, I would have gone around pickpocketing weapons first.

I think they just don't want you "accidentally" shutting down a quest Caesar gives you before you have a chance to pursue it.  Plus, whoever said the NCR were bright bulbs?  :innocent:

I'm currently playing an Energy weapons user and am having a lot of fun with it. I thought they did an awesome job at making it feel different than Guns for example. Given the rarity of the energy weapons compared to usual Guns though, it does feel a bit underpowered in comparison (since many of the weapons aren't quite as good as their Guns counterpart).



Nice thing though. Just saw a post by Josh Sawyer (the project director on the game) that he has tweaked the way EW ammo, plus some of the individual weapons, for the upcoming patch. So we should see a little boost.

killing ceasar is actually really easy lol, if you go into the arena a few times, you can get a high quality machete and just melee him to death at night while HIDDEN.

You don't get anything for killing him. Not even a pat on the back. I kacked the guy with boone and killed everyone in the camp. Well there was on guy I let live. He was just sitting there doing push ups while I was slaughtering everyone. I spared him for his commitment to fitness.

I couldn't. My character was a woman<_<. They're just afraid that she will rip their heads off.

Same reason they don't try to enslave a male PC.

The Legion is currently fighting the NCR, any Legion you see out in the wastes are scouts and raiders sent to disrupt the NCR's supply lines.
When they DO raid for slaves they do it on a large scale like in Nipton.

also, you have a gun. That tends to discourage any attempts at enslavement.

For most of the game they are either trying to win your help or you're their sworn enemy.  It would have made for an interesting random encounter though.  Sort of like going undercover in The Pitt.

Ah yes but honesty when I first met them as a male PC there was four of them with dogs. I couldn't have taken them all on. It was just me and lame EDI? *Spelling is wrong.

Why would any female PC be crazy enough to help them? 

It would be rather hilarious if a female PCs reward for helping them was to either become a slave or be forced to marry one of their high ranking officers.

Though yes having the female PC own them when they try to enslave her would've been epic.

if you get a hate status its impossible to correct it :\\ since they wont give you any missions to gain back favor...

am i the only one wishing you could if you had the correct parts make a faction armor non faction based? like with NCR Power armor have the ability with like, 100 lead Scrap Metal And a Knife be able to scratch off the NCR Bear and colors, or with like 5 Leather Armor and 2 Combat armor the ability to make NCR Ranger Armor non Factional, but have it looks more rag tag with the same hit points :\\ but im probably asking for to much...

Oh wells. We all have our opinions. I think it's the sexiest armor in the game behind the NCR combat ranger armor.

Well, out of all the Power Armors I think the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel armor is the best looking. It has the touch of wickedness associated with the selfishness of BOS faction.

I went full crazy and made it happen. Didn't think it possible, but I did. Even left Boone at my motel in Novac (he was still technically a companion, just had him wait there because he's... not exactly stealthy when he sees Legion dudes, lol), so it was just me, my hold-out weapons (hooray high sneak!), and I did have Rex waiting outside Caesar's tent, at least.

Talked to Caesar, got The Platinum Chip, then dropped my whopping four C-4 around the most crowded areas of the tent and detonated. The slow-mo of Caesar's body launching into the air, never to be seen again was EPIC. And then the ballistic fist army came.  Ran around in circles pumping stimpacks and throwing frag grenades until everyone in the tent was dead. Grabbed the ballistic fists and was stunned at their power, conisdering I put no additional points in unarmed or melee. Freed Benny, who promptly ran out and got himself killed (idiot).

Then I left the tent, grabbed Rex, and we totally ballistic fisted their entire camp. Found plenty of weapons in their camp, so I was practically fully rearmed by the time I got back to the lockers were they had confiscated my non-holdout weapons.

Hate to quote Cailan, but it really was glo-o-o-o-o-orious!  Granted, I play on easy and non-hardcore, but I did it at Level 30 with just myself and Rex. Gotta count for some badass, right?

And total lulz at Boone when I returned back to the motel. Guess since I only had him wait, he thought he'd gone along for the ride.

Ohh, good to know.  I just did this at too low a level, didn't have anyone but Boone, didn't have enough sneak or really enough anything.  Too bad I don't feel like replaying, I'm enamored of DragonRacer's C4 scenario.  Whee!  I love explosives.
