Anybody know about the variety of weapons? Of course, we do have mods to add to the experience.

It's been discussed like a million times before but I personally don't think a romance is something that would fit particularly well into the themes of Fallout. A sexual encounter here and there? Sure. Full-blown romance? Nah...

Then again, Obsidian putting more effort into companions with depth this time around could mean that we'll see a romance at one point or another. But I would much rather have all that writing effort to go into other areas of the game. I don't think Fallout was ever meant to be a "personal experience", like Bioware's games are (or the way tried with the whole dad thing in F3). It was always much more overarching, your impacts on the wasteland as a whole. Not so much on emotional connections.

/cue discussion that will lead to flamewar

EDIT: About the weapons, supposedly there is more than double the amount from Fallout 3. Plus you can attach mods to them (scopes and so forth)

Bittercup? Ew. I was thinking more along the lines of Sarah Lyons. I'm not sure about Amata though. What about for female characters?

We'll be fine with Amata. Honest.

Well, I want it to be more about survival than luxury in the wasteland than it was in Fallout 3 so I guess you're right.

Even though that ungrateful b***t exiled me from the vault after I saved it from anarchy and after I saved her from an Enclave squad, she was like "It's all your fault!" I then put a bullet in her head without hesitating:bandit:

Well... She was trying to warn you about her insane, homicidal dad (Overseer) so I'll let that one slide.

No, he's actually based off of Howard Hughes. And I was going to say that he was actually in:

Huh? You'd have to ask whomever it is that created that mod whether they plan to adapt it for New Vegas or not.

I was wondering if you heard it from announcements.

Oh, I pay absolutely 0% attention to the modding community. The mods I get tend not to be updated often.

They kinda hinted at the end of Broken Steel that Sarah Lyons was interested in the Lone Wanderer, she said something like "I wish to get to know you better."

One thing I noticed from watching the live playthroughs is that it's much more easier to level up. I like that. I like that a lot.

The only female character I liked in FO3 was Sidney, who meet you meet in the National Archives. She was pretty badass and had a couple of good comebacks if you pestered her.

Though that chick from Reilly's Rangers was alright as well.

I hope Veronica Santangelo is romancable. There has gotta be at least one romancable character in this game.

It'd be nice to have a romanceable character in Fallout, I guess. Shame you couldn't hop into bed with Bittercup in Fallout 3.
Mind you, Fallout 3 sucked with that regard. Your "sleeping with Nova" option was basically sleep in the same bed as she was in, and she doesn't even say anything after. :|

You can have sex with a robot in Fallout New Vegas, if thats what your into Image IPB lmao!

''The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB), a non-profit, self-regulatory board that assigns ratings for videogames, has outed Fallout: New Vegas' steamy sexcapades.

Not only can players have sex with human beings, but they can also have sex with robots, as the rating suggests players will have sequences where it's made apparent for both.

Here's the description per the ESRB:

During the course of the game, players will encounter male and female prostitutes: the screen fades to black as suggestive dialogue is heard in the background (e.g., "Nice charlies, too! Give them a shake for the Ben-man, will ya?").

There is also an extended sequence suggesting (no depiction) sexual activity with a robot (e.g., "Fisto reporting for duty . . . Please assume the position," "I suppose I should test you out . . . Servos active!" and "Something wrong with someone if they got to f**k a machine.")

Not really. It's more about the NCR vs. Caeser's Legion. And the Brotherhood of Steel is involved too. One thing I've learned from watching the live(and leaked) playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas  is that the main quest is a lot more open-ended compared to the one in Fallout 3. You're more in control of the story. If you kill Mr. House for example, the Brotherhoold of Steel gets involved because there is new tech never before seen that you discover in the Lucky 38 soon after.
