I wonder if they're going to make a Fallout game that isn't set in a desert?
I for one loved Point Lookout.
The GOTY issues probably were PC only.

I dunno, I don't think it makes a blind bit of difference. I remember more karma loss from stealing than karma gain, and I'm currently sat at Very Good.LegendaryAvenger wrote...
I'm having a hard time believing that I get bad karma by stealing from the Legion. Oh well, the Karma system in Fallout3-NV was and always will be fail. I could go killing everybody in a town with Knock-Knock like a sadistic, psychotic slasher in a horror movie with an axe and I'd still have Very Good.

I am absolutely addicted to this game! Currently doing a Guns/Repair/Speech run. Hand Loader and Shotgun Surgeon all the way! So far I've seen the Wild Card ending and I'm doing the NCR run now. Glitches be damned, I LOVE this game!

93 hours in one playthrough? Even with the DLC I'm only at 48, then again I hadn't explored every town yet. I've finished all the endings, and there's not much difference in 'em. I'm currently working on a Guns, Repair and Speech playthrough, with Cowboy and Gunslinger so far to boost my revolvers. I think I'm going to regret not having the YCS once I head over to the Deathclaw infested areas.....

The only building I haven't been in that I want to is the...........oh I can't remeber it's name, but it's near Freeside and from what I've heard its heavily booby trapped, as well as an alternate way to kill Mr. House. I think his brother owned it or something.

I did not quite expect this because I (unfortunately) usually am the type of gamer who will explore everything in one playthrough, but I think the fact that the game is rather open in how you create characters makes me play it much more "naturally" and not having fits of "gotta complete everything!". There are still the occasional quests that I haven't completed at all and there are many quests in which I've only played through them once.

Yup, that's the building. The House part is just a bit I read on the Wiki.
@Leinadi -My first playthrough I picked....oh here we go again (memory lag), the Educated perk? The perk that gives you a total of 30% more xp (3 tiers) and had no trouble reaching max level many hours before the final quest(s). In my current playthrough I'm picking the same perk because I want to reach max ability and start fully exploring the game.
I typically rush through on my first plays, then, and once I have a good grasp of the mechanics, I explore.
Other than the games ending, I really hate the unmarked side quest. It seems there are as many of those as there is 'regular' quest. Perhaps they ran out of time? Those quest seem to get bugged more often.

The unmarked are a pain. You have to do them straight away or thats that. It must have been a time thing, i mean it seems strange that Lilys' quest is unmarked
I picked that educated perk in the first playthrough but i soon realised how easy it is to level up, so i wont be picking it again as it just seems a waste of a perk.

Just stumbled upon this. I have considered a tat for FO, since i love it. Not sure about that image, but its pretty awesome

I never given much thought towards tattos since I was in my teens, but that makes my mind question it. Its a great idea, the Fallout boy, but I think I'd tone it down a good bit, perhaps a side arm tatt.

Yeah, I'll probably regret it later on, but in my last playthrough none of the perks past 'damage enhancers' really piqued my intrest. I did the male equivelent of Black Widow, but found its usefullness lacking. I did however spend 7 perks on Intense Training. A character with full 10 for 10 traits is unstoppable. I think my problem was, when you first level up there's hardly any good perks to choose from, and since you can't not level up, you are forced to choose from less than eight perks, most of which are completely worthless IMO. I would've choose Intense Training this time around, but I was going to wait until I get the implants before choosing it......It was either the additional xp, or Retention, which grants you bigger bonuses when reading magazines. Retention could be decent in the begining, but later on a wasted perk. Maybe Educated will payoff with subsequent DLC and raised level caps.....?

I think making perks every other level was a big improvement from F3 but I would've preferred it at every 3 levels honestly. If I'm making a character concept (and not trying to min-max), I still "run out" of perks that make sense for my characters when you get to like... level 15 or so.
Intense Training always seem to exist as a sort of back-up perk to take when there's nothing else really fitting there for your character, which is a bit of a shame and sorta trivializes SPECIAL a bit.

it has imo what was missing in FO3 :Soul
yeah the graphics arent much different , but if you spent some time on the normal hardcore mode
and the xtra hardcore mode , youll know if you pick high peaks yo ganna be challenged major time.
i found the vegas city itself had more life in it then the entire FO3 title .
Of course the average 14yr old SON , that has top notch hardware is disappointed saying how outdated the graphics are. Oh and the best Quote ever since FO3 was Oblivion with guns , wich even if it was true , ppl should be thankfull to get rid of the boring gnomes elves dwarves ect you see in every RPG title these days
