Apparently there were 122 known Vault-Tec vaults in the US and there were also many areas that were not bombed.

Can I do the remnants quest and get them as allies if I'm following indepandant route?
BTW which route is better: Independant or Mr House? I ask coz I wont be playin NV again, my patience goes this far

As for House vs. Yes Man, only you can decide that.

There are some things that are missing from the gameworld. I'm lvl 30 and couldnt find remnants armour for example (the one across the river - Deathclaw den), neither some of the weapons and unique stuff...
And if someone has to be a dictator, it would be me.

Also, for those people who are more into NV for the action instead of the roleplaying, the Project Nevada mod looks like it could be interesting.

Eek. NV has quite enough action already I think. I wished people would stop bloody shooting at me while I was exploring. If there wasn't so much shooting and more love instead then the post apocalyptic world would be like really peaceful and beautiful, man.Morbo wrote...

I used console once - to get the gauss rifle. I couldnt locate the mercenary group who supposedly camp NW edge of the map. They dissapeard. I saw them once when leaving Jacobstown and persuading them not to attack Supermutants - then I saw gauss rifle on mercenary's back. When later on I returned to their camp they werent there. Looked everywhere in the vicinity. No luck.
Did you meet the right group? The group holding the unique Gauss Rifle are at the NNW edge of map, nowhere near Jacobstown.

You can't find them due to a bug with the engine. The bodies are there but sometimes the engine places them under the ground so you can't see or loot them. Sometimes leaving and returning helps. Saving and reloading may help too ... but beware that live Deathclaws may spawn spontaneously upon reloading!

On one side ending says that its real freedom now, with peace and stop of violence and what not red roses, then the Followers of the A say the chaos and violence runs rampart which causes them to hold bearly by a thread...WTF?
Its like schisophrenia. One faction says one thing the other says otherwise - some contradictions...
I gotta say I was exhausted finishing the game which I'd never imagine with post-apocaliptic setting (one of my favorite).
What annoyed me the most at the dam was when installing the chip NCR turns rather hostile...and if you make remnants help you at the dam they land all RED on pipboy and turn on you with guns blazing. WTF again.
It seemed as if designers couldnt handle the vast number of threads and possibilities, permutations...ugh...I need fresh air
Another thing was the merchant stuff. Till the very end not one had sniper rifle silencer, not to mention other more rare elements (laser minigun utils and the like). Shame.
P.S. But the remnants power armour is top notch! I was runnin the whole game in recon armor and Boons beret sniping with Gobi Campaign Sniper. BEst weapon imo. I didnt need anything else to kill all that oposed me.

So I finished the damn thing. Independent ending. And the amount of bugs, inconsistencies and other crap just kills the game for me. The plot and stuff are better than F3 but alas...
Agreed, buggy like what. For me, it would run smoothly for a couple of hours, then crash without warning at certain spaces. Developed a habit of Quicksaving regularly when trekking outdoors

They are supposed to turn hostile, because if you followed the Independent Ending, your basically setting yourself against NCR's interest. Unless you managed to do so without letting them know you installed the chip: a very high Speech Check would enable to to divert the soldiers so they don't notice your actions and thus they won't turn hostile.

Well, the goods are semi-random so ... basically you were seriously unlucky. I remember my Cowgirl was at level 18 before I got to buy the Trail Carbine scope.

Looks nice and have good DT but ... heavy armour is slow. Thank the community for mods. Some of them created great armour sets. I currently have the Advanced Recon armours installed and put Boone in a black Trenchcoat style armour.

The game's too much fun not to play, though, so yes, even a major glitch like the one mentioned earlier isn't enough to stop me from blowing things to hell and chattin' up the guys. OMG, when my female character finally confronted Benny, the Black Widow perk conversation choices had me in tears. The ending scene to that convo was just... it was... HAHAHA. Maker, somebody should slip something like that into DA2. Ah, the gamers' reactions would be priceless.

Any word on new DLC? I'd like to go back to FNV, but Dead Money had no appeal for me.

I had already uinstalled it but Dead Money's arrival made me put it back on
Glad I did because I'm still finding a lot of fun in this game the 2nd time around.
I'm excited for Skyrim as much as the next guy but its not the end all be all of video games.

Yes, talking to Bruce Isaac reveals as much. The Narrator wrote...
did anyone else know that Mr Bishop is The son of the Chosen one?
Bruce also slept with Mr Bishop's daughter, just as you, the Chosen One, can sleep with John Bishop's daughter in FO2 (and with Bishop's wife).
New Reno was...a bit of a silly place.
