This one has a menu wheel, but nothing happens when you click Open Inventory.mrcrusty wrote...
I think my one is an Extra Perk Module for XFO-NV Overhaul. He can carry inventory and you can feed him raw meat.

I avoid big gameworld-changing mods. I'm a pessimist.

Hmm... the open inventory works for me. Can carry 200lb. What a Trooper.
It's not a massive un-changeable goliath beast. It's a set of modular .esps that you can set on and off, though I'll admit it may be quite daunting for newbie modders.

So, apparently I was close to the end of the game (I was in the strip and I think I was in the house with those white glove dudes?) About how much longer do I have to beat the game, and after I leave that house place, can I do the extra dlc before the end? Can I do it after?
The Game will let you know when the end of the story is about to start.
You have to do the DLC before the end, since the game ends once you do the final mission.

I've been thinking about getting Dead Money and Honest Hearts. I wonder how long they are and if they are worth the cash.

Dead Money was fine. Lot's of story and dialogue in it, show me a mod that is even close to it, I'd love to play it.
Honest Hearts, on the other had, was quite bad.

Also, some NPCs at the start of Honest Hearts being un-attackable was really annoying and lead to me killing a friendly NPC by accident with a sniper rifle, I wouldn't have known he was friendly it didn't give me a quest failed notice for a quest I didn't have yet after I killed him.

Which makes me want to brag about... the fact my 35 hours file of Fallout 3 got corrupted today... Have to restart my whole adventure. Woohoo. I'll remind myself to save more manually from now on.

Eh.. I got that with my last NV run, spent dozens of hours just exploring the wasteland and when I got back to civilization the NCR (who I was friendly with previously) started shooting at me, then I checked my reputation UI and I'd lost almost all of my reputations.Teddie Sage wrote...
I have all the cash I need for the DLCs now. But I'm planning to finish Fallout 3 first, then I'll re-install New Vegas again since it's so buggy and fans recommended me to reboot the whole game, then patch it again.

I didn't lose the whole character but I easily lost dozens of hours of exploring, but on the other hand I found alot of things on my second run through it that I missed first time around, so it wasn't all bad.

New Vegas: Right now I'm somewhere in the Mojave wastelands, doing all the side jobs possible. I got lost with the NCR mission about rangers, cadazors in the way. North-west of the map. I got a feeling I'll have to take Jacobstown's way to get there. It's a Boone/E-DE (Wild Card) file.

I think both are long enough/ involved enough to be worth the cash. They're very different. Honest Hearts is more your standard exploration type DLC with a few quests and a fairly interesting main quest involving conflicts between tribals. Dead Money is a survival/ horror type dungeon where you're fighting the environment and having to scrounge weapons and health stuff, fight insane zombie type things while you try to get a team and then solve the puzzle of getting into the Sierra Madre casino. It really depends on what type of play you like which you should get, if you only want to buy one.Teddie Sage wrote...

I enjoyed Dead Money a lot. Good story, characters and dialogues. Solid attempt at making a horror survival out of fallout.
Didn't like Honest Hearts though.. It could have been great but it was so so....

Lonesome Road would've been a fitting end to the game, otherwise. I've always been more interested in the other Courier's mysterious shared with "our" Courier than the actual main quest and its faction interplay.

It feels kind of anti-climactic that after Lonesome Road will end, you will still be able to return to the Mojave and finish the main quest, after which the game will really end.

Maybe they'll make up actual endings after it ? Just like the evil ending in Dead Money.

Would be like a nice epilogue type DLC.
Having fun with my current playthrough though.

What was your starting Stat (agi, str and etc) and perks?
Im quite confused what to take since I want to benefit with lockpicking, small guns, being stealthy and succesful at winning people over (conversations).

Just RP it. The game isn't all that hard outside of Deathclaws and Cazadores if you keep the difficulty at medium and don't use mods or hardcore mode.

Groin shots would be cool as well, if only to use against Benny.
Is there any mod that adds these options?
