OK this is driving me mad!

I can't get  awakening to play..

I re-installed it after buying a new ccomputer (had to buy a 2nd copy as I lost the awakening key code)

I installed  origins and played for a few days.   then bought and installed Awakening..  I had already patched the game to 1.04 (newest one if that number is wrong)

when I started the game I noticed that akakening simply didn't show up..

after some reading I uninstalled everything and installed Both versions.. when I launced still no awakening..

This is a windows 7 pro system.. Origins plays just fine..  but I bought  like 5 add ons for this game some require Awakening to start..

I need some help   bad!

1 other thing  the quest for shale... it keeps telling me that it's been downloaded and will appear on the next start. but it never does..  

Any ideas at all?

I evern trashed ALL my saves and started from scratch..  but almost done and ready to start Akakening..

fixed 3rd reinstall fixed it.. still no clue why
