Does anyone know why my character's full-scale picture isn't up to date? It says in the items boxes that it is, but the pic just shows the stuff I had at level one. Does anyone know how to fix this?

In the past couple of days, I've had the character portrait that I was using simply disappear - trying to view the picture tells me that it can't find the file.

So I changed my profile photo to another one of my DAO characters so that my image wouldn't be a black box. But now that character picture has disappeared as well. If I go to the change profile photo page, the images for both those characters are gone, and only their name is present where the portrait should be.

Additionally, above the location where my portrait should be (where you can update your status), the text reads "13134's Profile" instead of "AmstradHero's Profile".

I am a PC owner of the game, if that makes any difference.

I'm pretty sure the Socials site is experiencing technical difficulties with the proper uploading and displaying of characters......again.

Still no word from any mods or devs or anyone about this I see. They must have better things to do than deal with problems with the game/site that a large group of people seem to have. Or they hate us. Either way.

My achievements show up, and the diagnostics page says everything is peachy (well, except I have error 1005), but I don't see anything about my character anywhere *except* on that diagnostics page.

Interesting, but three of my characters' portraits all vanished today, including the one I was using as an avatar. Didn't even do anything, as this was my first time back, and profile diagnostics show everything is there. Server de-synced?

I should point out that the portraits that vanished were the ones for my three characters that had 1005 errors for extra unexpected files. They all still have the error, and nothing else has changed. Lyle, however, which I fixed with a lot of deleting back when I had completed his game, only has the normal four files and his portrait is the one that shows (I've now set my avatar as that portrait again).

I have the exact same problem and I get the error codes 1004 and 1003 in diagnostics.
My only character won't show up in the character portrait. Her inventory, achievements and stats are updated but her picture remains blank and I played it without the dev console just to make sure.
I really want to use her portrait(with her awesome Blood Dragon Plate) instead of the default stie avatars.

Same problem here, half my characters won't show up. I'm constantly deleting them in hope that next time they upload, it'll be fine, but no.

Also, it keep uploading characters i have deleted ages ago.

Having the same issue as 90% of people here.



While creating my character, I got some error about not being able to connect to the DA:O online server (though the PSN stayed connected). Now, everything updates just fine, but I have no avatar or profile pic associated with this character. Two other bum characters I made showed up just fine (didn't get the DA server error at creation with those).

I have never had it working from within Dragon Age (PC version), but the character creator works quite happily. NFI what is going on.

EDIT: fixed (I think).  Recreated the launcher icon from within Steam's Games menu.  I guess this would work with normal versions (non-Steam) by dragging a new shortcut out onto the desktop?  I still manually log in to update details however, I hate single player games that require an active internet connection to use.  I'm looking at you, Mass Effect 2 !!

Same boat here. My Character has no profile picture and I get this error on the character diognostic page:

1003 - No portrait image uploaded from the game to the on-line storage server.

My full scale pic isn't working either. Shows all my old level 1 gear on it while I have almost all dragonbone armor on. Took all her armor and accessories off, page updated, equip boxes around her are blank, but still has her level 1 gear on the big pic.

Yep. These last few days it's managed to lose the pictures for many of my characters (some of whom haven't been updated since mid january so I don't know how it managed to msisplace them). for now I'm just going to sit tight and see if it sorts itself out again.
