I'm contemplating working on my mod Arcane Arts again, but one of the bigger issues I was having with it before was that there were some scripted events in which NPCs would cast spells, and if I had made major changes to the spell it would botch the entire event (such as the instructor in the Mage origin casting Fireball at a student protecting himself with Anti-magic Ward).
I haven't actually gotten real far into the game, so I was wondering if anyone could list as many of such events as possible, so I know what spells to avoid making major changes to.
Mage spells cast in scripted events by NPCs?

maybe the ones that turn mages into abominations during the mages tower quest? maybe not a real spell, just a vfx, but the only one that I can really think of.

Ah, yes. One person who used my mod said the game crashed during that quest when someone began casting something in a situation like what you've described.

and of course when one is sent into the fade.
