The centipede would die slowly starting from the back.
The person in the front will get a lot of the nutrients out of the food, the next person will get whatever is left (probably not a whole lot at all) and the person after that... well, I'd be surprised if they even poop anything out by that stage.
Not to mention that the person in the middle and the back will get literally no fluids. Cause he didn't connect the bladder systems, just the intestine. So, heck, how long can anyone stay alive without water? I doubt it makes all that surgery and life inprisonment worth it to see a human centipede for a day or two...

LOL. I know they were suposed to be a bit dumb, but dear lord it was ridiculous. I didn't even care what happened to them after they decided to walk off into the woods in their little skirts and high heels. Deserved!
The only bit where I did feel a bit bad was at the end as it was a really messed up situation to be in alone.
