I'm trying to not have any romances with any of my squadmates in Mass Effect but even after rejecting both Liara and Ashley, Ashley's dialog suggests that a relationship between her and my Shepard is developing. So, is there anyway I can permenantly reject her without sacrificing her on Virmire?

1) Don't talk to her.

2) Use the "You are out of line" response on the first/second talk where she complains about aliens on the ship.

3) Tell her to get lost(bottom right) when you are in lockdown and she comes to talk. Basically this is all the shut up, and go away responses.

These are the only things that work, any other response once the romance is started basically moves it along. If it hasn't gone too far, simply not talking will work.

That actually happened on my first playthrough. I wanted to talk to everyone and all of a sudden they, Ashley and Liara, approached me telling me to choose between them. I'm like I wasn't trying to romance either one of you. lol

Anyway, I usually do not talk to Ashley at all if I am trying to get full paragon.

If you do the third option the game will still peg you as being romanced. I fell into that trap one time. You either have to do option one or two.

Same thing happened to me. I was really creeped out that two of the women on my crew randomly approached me shouting at me that I was leading them on and demanded that I choose between them.

And my response wasn't available on the dialgue wheel.

"Wait, what's going on?!"

"Have you two been having imaginary relationships with me this whole time?"

"That is kinda creepy... don't get me wrong, I'm flattered... but gtfo my ship..."

Well I told her she was out of line and then picked the middle option (forgot what it was). Should I have picked the bottom option (I'm not interested in you)?

Why don't you take a trip to Virmire, and "forget" to have Joker pick her up

If nothing else works then I'll activate the "failsafe", but I'd like to know if theres any other way. Besides the scene when you save Kaiden seems a bit gay. And the way you walk up to him when your about to talk with him. Just seems gay....
