If you import your warden then it automatically sets you down for having done the Dark Ritual.

That or a wizard did it.

Overruled. You didn't have a choice in the matter. I understand that there was a significant amount of lubing involved.

If you import a dead Warden into Awakenings, you/Alistair/Secret Companion are retroactively assumed to have done the Dark Ritual in order to explain why your Warden is alive.
If you intend for your Warden to stay dead, don't import him and create an Orlesian Warden instead.

What I'm wondering is how they'll handle Awakening imports for US wardens who play as an Orlesian Warden. I'm hoping that Awakening only saves self-contained data, restricted to flags for choices made within the DA:A story, in which case it wouldn't permanently default Origins decisions. Or maybe DA2 can import Awakening first, then allow Origins to overwrite shared data.
Not good for consistency and immersion, but that would be the lesser of two evils, if they are able and willing to do it. (Alistair dead/exiled in DA:O, alive and ruling in DA:A, then back to dead for the rest of the franchise.)

I would imagine, though, that all your decisions that they do import would be the same, your warden alive, etc. So if you made Alistair king, there would be the assumption that you did the dark ritual. But if you made Anora queen, that assumption wouldn't necessarily be there.
Which makes me wonder about WH. If you refused to do the dark ritual, made Alistair king, then played your dead warden and then played WH, would Morrigan treat you if you refused or did the ritual.

You refused my offer yet you still live.
If you import a dead warden that is, which I dont.

Yep, I ran WH with a dead warden, that had also completed Awakenings. That was the dialogue I got from Morrigan.
I'm pretty sure the DR is not set as a default choice.

Yes, she does indeed say this:

I'm pretty sure she also implies she doesn't know how that happened.
Which makes sense, since the whole idea of importing a dead warden and continuing to play that character makes no sense to me.
