less than 10 is my guess. Jed said the majority of people were getting 3. 4 and 5 lithos were maybe about 10 people. If you think about it 10 people taking 10% of the total stock is quite a lot, even more when they were only printing 300.

Well, I'll always aim for the first window, and being in Australia I'll have to be up nice and early. I'm fine with that. Soundsl ike fun, it put a sense of acomplishment and occasion to buying lithos I really want. Ads a story to them.

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to have some kind of "preferred customer" list...something to help insure that these get in the hands of people that want them first. I guess it's kind of weird asking for preferential treatment, but many of us are collectors of some sort or another...and it seems like a shame there's a good chance we may miss out to a bunch of people (as an example) that just want the Tali artwork because it is Tali...without any actual appreciation for the art.



I guess what I'm proposing is maybe a day early sale (limit of 1) for certain members (myself included, of course :-P) that can prove they are actual collectors.

Honestly, that sounds kinda elitist and unfair.  Preferred customer list?  If you ask people to prove they are a collector and then deny a certain person who considers themself a collector a lithograph what happens then?  What if one of the people whose considered a collector sells their lithograph on ebay? 

Everyone should have an equal chance of getting a lithograph reguardless of previous collecting experiences.

I have to agree, as nice as it is to be able to get a litho on preference, it's not really fair to those starting out of fans of a character. The new times hopefully will help most though.

It may be more along the lines of 3 of each Litho each...that reads oddly, but basically your limited to buying 3 Lithos of a single, certain type...so 3 sets (9 Litho's total - 3 types, 3 each) is your limit...i think...

We tend to think of elitism as wrong, but I have to admit I don't feel that is the case. Elitism for the sake of elitism, sure...but I'm not trying to say I'm more deserving than others like me, I'm saying that I'm more deserving than others who want to buy 3 and sell 2 of them on eBay. However, I'll stop the whole "preferred customer" line of thought.



Suffice to say that I don't like the "Limit 3" and 5 hours apart. I think that for the first 24 hours, it should be limit 1...and then give the option to add onto your orders once everyone has had a chance to get one. Yes, there are ways for re-sellers to get past the limit, but even if it just slows them down, I think that's an improvement. As for them being released at 12 and 5 on a friday...am I really the only one that has a job?

That's actually a really good point.  I can access the Bioware store at work, but most people probably can't.  Moving the 5pm one to a time later on in the evening would be much more fair.

While moving later than 5pm might be a good idea for some, you'd have to think of the guys working at the store. Do you like staying back at work I know I don't But I do get your point, not everybody has access to the internet at work. Though if they're that much of a die hard fan, they can either get a friend, relative or ah, chuck a sickie, to get the litho they want.

I actually have this friday off, but it still would be nice if they were more spaced out. Can you make it so the servers auto-update with new stock, or do you have to manually input it all?

Yeah...from Jedi's perspective, he should be 7 hours behind GMT...and Aussie land is between 9 and 11 hours ahead of GMT (~ +16-18 hours)...so assuming the 2nd batch is released at 5pm Fri. Jedi time, it should hit Aussie land sometime 9-11am Sat. depending on where you live...

You'd have to kill me, too, because I was going to confirm as well. ^.^ Just busy writing another post. If released on a mid/late Friday (as most lithos were in the past), it's already Saturday in East Asia/Australia. (there's a chance of course that you work on Saturdays)
