I'm looking around in the toolset. The comments section on the boots says they're available in some sarcophagus... Not that that helps much. Still looking.

The boots are in Lothering.

Whereat? They certainly aren't in that cabinet in the chantry.

I think it may appear in some versions of the game..but not others..because I know for a fact I've looked in every container..everything in Lothering..and no Boots...I've even pickpocketed everyone..no boots.

No, it's a chest you lockpick, IIRC.

Can you be more specific? The locked chest in the chantry only has a symbol of andraste inside. A different chest?

Hey Maria do you know? Are you rhyming like the grand oak? is that your clue? lol
I just want to know, the pain! the pain!
The sad thing is I THINK I remember getting them at the Chantry cabinet on my VERY first playthrough then selling them and starting a new game later on. Since then nada, zip, nothing. Why!

I picked up the gloves in Haven too and I love the look of the armor, but I haven't found the other pieces yet. (And darned if I didn't just finish the hermit too, blast it all.) Oh well. I'll just wait until someone gives up and makes Arlathen Royal Guard armor using that style of armor as the base and download it.
Bless you, DLC.

This is starting to get annoying. Some people say they're in Lothering, but I think they just believe so, not know so. Nobody knows and nobody finds them. So, BioWare, WHERE are they supposed to be? Lothering? Ruin? Is it a bug?

I personally unlock that freaken cabinet with the key from Sir Bryant 6 times!!!
Not once I've seen the fxxxing boots~~~
This is very irritating. I'm stuck in Lothering and I can't march forward. If I do, this pathetic village will vanish along with my boots.

Well, it's been confirmed now that on the console version, they're atlest in that cabinet of the Chantry. Now we just have to figure out what's wrong with the PC version.

You need to look for 4 sites in the Elven Forest. There are 3 gravestones and one site inside of the Werewolf Lair. The Grave Stone fights are very diffcult due to you fighting a hoard of undead and a Revernant. The one in the Lair is the easiest one.
And most Prima Guides are only good for the main quests usualy they do not document all the side quests.

Second playthrough, back in Lothering, no boots. Nowhere
Looks indeed like something's missing. Which is really a shame, I *love* the looks of that armor.

i play the 360. i found the boots in lothering. they are in a cabinet in the church, you get the key by getting rid of the bandits and asking for a reward, then pass a speech check to get "extra rewards" and you should receive a key.
