I don't have much hope for this, but I'd like a way to replicate the 'disable sound effects' option in the menu. That is, to be able to turn off all sound (not music) for the player temporarily. Or something else that lets me somehow make normal combat sounds much quieter. Is there a way to make custom reverb presets, perhaps? One that would just mute it all?

I have no idea how these things work but there are sound fx's in the toolset called 'ducking' after doing a bit of google research on them it seems that ducking is used to quite down sounds at times when you want quiet some and have others come out.
As I said I don't have a clue how these function or how you would use them but perhaps they will point you in the right direction.
