can someone help me i used the ME2Coalesced.Editor.v1.0.0.32B to change the ini but now i have a problem. after i started a game+ withe my ME2 char the game always crashes when i try to change my weapons. i made a few changes to the ini 1 i gave my infiltrator assault weapons for that i made this

PlayerLoadoutInfo=(className=SFXPawn_PlayerInfiltrator,Weaponclasses=(LoadoutWeapons_HeavyPistols,LoadoutWeapons_AutoPistols,LoadoutWeapons_SniperRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyWeapons))

to this
PlayerLoadoutInfo=(className=SFXPawn_PlayerInfiltrator,Weaponclasses=(LoadoutWeapons_AssaultRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyPistols,LoadoutWeapons_AutoPistols,LoadoutWeapons_SniperRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyWeapons))

and i made a few changes to the widow sniper

and it worked in the first play no problems but now i cant change my weapons . i try ed using the save editor to edit the weapon loudout but i keep getting only the standard weapons. can anyone help me?

Are you saving your changes, then going to the Commands menu and choosing Rebuild Coalesced?

At a glance, i'm not seeing anything obvious about your changes that would cause a problem.

yes all the changes worked in last play through but on the other hand i only changed my weapons once on the last play through. and i don't know if i made the modifications before or after.

maybe it would work if i use the original .ini start a new game change the weapons and then use the modded .ini. but in that case i would still only be able to use the avenger assault rifle.

i haven't used custom key bindings is it possible to create a binding that would equip a predefined set of weapons?

Still no dice. It's most likely an issue of an error in the mesh name. (What is his three letter code anyways? ZAD, ZYA, ZAE?) Or possibly because of all his resources being DLC.

Did you set bNotRegularWeaponGUI to be false?

GME2SE >Plot>Henchman>Flags
deselect "is dead" checkboxes.

Not sure if this is explained somewhere else, but I am having an issue, I don't generally mod so I am unfamiliar with things.

Anyway, I edit the Coalesced (Type Configuration Settings) I'm just trying to get the Miranda clothing to work with Shepard, so I add in the new lines: 


Clothes Inside Ship

CasualAppearances=(Id=501,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Female="BIOG_HMF_MIR_LGT_R.LGTa.HMF_MIR_LGTa_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

Miranda Loyalty Suit

CasualAppearances=(Id=502,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Female="BIOG_HMF_MIR_LGT_R.LGTa.HMF_MIR_LGTa_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_MIR_LGT_R.LGTb.HMF_MIR_LGTb_MAT_1a"),PlotFlag=-1)

To get her clothes outside the ship

And I changed the bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=False  to enable the loyalty suit without unlocking

Saved and exited, then I ran the CoalescedrealCRC using Ruby which gave me the file "fixed Coalesced" or something along those lines.

Went to run the game and it won't start, I know I have done something wrong, could someone please tell me what I've done wrong? Thank you

Do we know what files control the different costumes? For example:

BioH_END_Vixen_01.pcc

BioH_END_Vixen_01_LOC_INT.pcc

BioH_Vixen_00.pcc

BioH_Vixen_00_LOC_INT.pcc

BioH_Vixen_01.pcc

BioH_Vixen_01_LOC_INT.pcc

tryed that no change game still crashes when i use the weaponslocker.
is it posible to change the strandard weapons to the ones i wahnt so i dont have to use the locker?

in a way yes
use ME2Coalesced.Editor.v1.0.0.32B and search: WeaponsUseHeat
and set the value from false to: true
you have to do this once

then search for: bInfiniteAmmo
and also set the value from false to: true
you have to do this for every weapon

WARNING that does not work for all weapons and you better only change the weapons you use.
that's how i did it but i have thrown it out again the game is to easy the way it is.

I don't think that matters. The coalesced.ini doesn't change unless you change it or you installed an update that overwrote the file with a newer version.

I use the same editor as you at times and have never had a problem. Most use Notepad++ and ME2inifixer now, though as I get more control.

If you're really having issues, it's always best to remove your edited versions and copy back in your backup original c.ini and start over.

Can you tell me, how to replace Liara's face texture in Mass Effect 1 with the "new/current" one from ME2 Lair of the Shadow Broker?
I know about the TexMod, but I couldn't find any related mods, only Mass Effect 2 modification, but not for ME1. I would like to see the new face of Liara in the first Mass Effect aswell.
Could you help me out here?

I don't believe that there is a RGB color line that you can change in the ini file.. If you find one let us know, but until then here are some awesome community mods that change the gun models. Just download what you want and run in textmod.

This game isn't very mod friendly, the only way I know how to edit your character after you've made it is via "Gibbed Save Editor" (not the clothing though, just the head morphing,hair and eyes)

Which I used to make my Shepard look like this(hope the image works)

No question is ever lame & are all good in their own right. {{(Lame - that's my life:lol:)}}.

The face editor is located in BioP_Char.pcc and there is no way to insert new objects to the game.......yet.
And if I understand your idea (place a face editor next to the armor editor?) then no its not.

However.....

You can try placing a binding in your C.ini like so:

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="Q", Command="StreamLevelIn BioP_Char" )
No idea if it works though.:unsure:

I am just greatful that we can mod it somewhat.

Mass Effect 2 wasn't designed to be modded. But we are free to modify; so as long as we accept the consquences of our moddifications. Its has been stated that no toolset will be released by Bioware & therefore, those who wish to mod must use the Coalesced.ini, Texmods & GME2SE to successfully do so.

This may not be exactly what your looking for but it could be worth a try.
ME1 & ME2 Versions available.
