Is there a way to edit model files in the game's .pcc files?
Thanks

It required a 24 hour setting period.
I'm back now.

Well, according to names those numbers represents GUi icon and descriptions so i dont think that chaning them would change model...phoenixofthunder wrote...
Ok try these:Sommyboy wrote...
yeah, i was looking in the c.ini file for some info earlier and though that "pretty name" may be the model number but didn't try it yet.phoenixofthunder wrote...
Epic Legion may soon have a way to do so. But all I can advise is try switching around the Sniper weapon info in the C.INI:::::Sommyboy wrote...
Is it possible to change weapon models? Like switching the Mantis model with Viper?
PrettyName=
M-92 Mantis:
[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_SniperRifle]
PrettyName=209737>>>>Switch >>>>PrettyName=209738
M-97 Viper:
[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_AntiMatRifle]
PrettyName=209738>>>>Switch>>>>PrettyName=209737
M-98 Widow:
[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_MassCannon]
PrettyName=209739
EDIT:
Didnt work, nothing seems to change
M-92 Mantis:
[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_SniperRifle]
IconRef=2>>>>Switch >>>>11
If nothing try:
GeneralDescription=338222>>>>Switch >>>>338223
If nothing try:
ShortDescription=339320>>>>Switch >>>>339322
M-97 Viper:
[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_AntiMatRifle]
IconRef=11>>>>Switch >>>>2
If nothing try:
GeneralDescription=338223>>>>Switch >>>>338222
If nothing try:
ShortDescription=339322>>>>Switch >>>>339320
I have better idea. If I wanna have the mantis look and widow power, instead of trying to switch the model, why don't just change properties of the mantis to be the same as widow? Problem solved
As long as I incited a breaktrough I'm content.

hello all, i have a little problem with getting biotic charge to work with henchmen.
for example grunt : i added these lines to my powers.txt
GivePower Grunt SFXPower_BioticCharge
GivePower Grunt SFXPower_BioticCharge_Radius
SetRank Grunt SFXPower_BioticCharge_Radius 4
So the ability shows up in the tactical hud wich is not the problem. but instead of doing the charge grunt just glows blue for a second , but nothig else happens.
Is there anything to adjust in the c. ini i might have overlooked?
I would be glad for some help.
You've never used biotic charge, yourself, have you?
NPC's are AI controlled and are stupid by default. Chances are likely that it doesn't know how to use BC.
The blue hazy effect happens to Shep when you try to target someone, but you can't hit them because they're not a valid target, or they're too far.

I've used biotic charge... So i allready knew abut the blue hazy effect. ;-)
I've tested the charge by playing Vanguard (resp. by givepower self...) and having e.g. Grunt right next to me - with clear line of sight on a NPC for several times. The result was always the same: Charge was no problem for me - no reaction with any henchmen forced to charge.
Similar Problem with SFXPower_KasumiCloakTeleport. Kasumi teleports - all other henchmen won't.
(sry my english is bad so i couldn't describe the prob much better.)

You need to test and fail, for finding out how this modding works.
None of us have the fasit.
Some power work for you as player and your squad, and others don't.
Kasumi's teleport power doesn't seems to work.
And Kasumi is the one that actualy use as example the Dominate power, she and Garrus.
Miranda and Jacob use Liara's Stasis power, often to much.
As for charging haven't had any luck with this power, yet.
But I do believe Jack and Grunt, should be the right candidate for this.
Again, test and test over again, that is what all of us have done!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the "No HUD Heads" project has been updated to include Liara and Kasumi.
Now the little heads at the bottom of the HUD will not appear even if you have Kasumi and LIara in your squad.
For the file go to this link:

For access to all the projects made by the texture modders follow this link and then click on the "projects" tab.

If you are new to texture mods you can find texmod and the easy instructions on how to use it under the "Texmod" projects.
