Sorry for my absence, I have been slightly under the weather recently; doc said to get extra rest. 10-12 hours a night he suggested (I usually only get 4-5 a night - which I can make it through the day easily on. So what he was asking was alot: force myself to stay in bed and get extra rest. !!!UGH!!!) But it worked and I'm by far the better for it.

I'll be getting back to vid making later tonight. BTW just tried Camtasia and it is an excellent screen recorder! Now I'll redo my video programs #1 and get it better visually.

Hi, just asking has anyone try to use the Gibbed's Mass Effect 2 Save Editor for a Female Shepard/Jack Renegade romance? If you have what are the step to do it :)?

Yes, it can be done. You need to save the game before talking with Jack. Use Gobbed's save editor, change the gender to male, talk with Jack and then save the game once more. Change the gender back to female and continue playing.

Change the gender to male every time talking with Jack, I do believe you need to do this until the last and final conversation.

Inge

Hi Inge: Just asking can I used my female likeness when talking to Jack as male? I try changing female to male but my shepard face look like it rip apart with a male body (talks like male Shepard too). Should I save my game before I talk to Jack each time after a mission? Plus do you have to be male everything you talk to Jack, from picking her up to end mission? If you can send me the hints how to do it I would be real greatfully :)?

Sorry for asking this again. How can I increase spare ammo rounds of the Off-Hand Ammo Pack?

I don't think you can. It's a bonus to a piece of armor in a percentage.

You can add that same bonus to other armor items and increase it that way.

Or, since you're in the c.ini you could just increase the number of rounds each weapon carries and not even deal with the armor bonus.

Thanks for reply. I think modifying DLC pack is the best way but I think it could be a heavy work for me. But can we increase the bonus percentage? :o

Hi RGFrog:  I tried that already with no luck, need a expert or someone who already did this.  I still getting the rip up face with male body.  Plus I like to know do I start using the editor right when I pick up Jack, Tali or Miranda?

OK, can't you just ignore this for the few second you talking with Jack? I guess your goal is some lesb romance, if you just save your game before you talking with Jacqueline and have passed the critical part of the conversation, then you don't need to change your gender. I guess this will be right.

@Inge, That's neet. But since i have no problem with the minigames, I would rather have a way to turn them off entirely. Like just click on the item and have it be done without even having to do the minigame. Any ideas along this line?

Hmm, I don't think that can be done. But the idea is good.

CheatHappens has released a trainer that can do almost as good. You basically just have to click once for the hacking game, or connect one node for the bypassing game.

Sadly, we can't change the bonus percentage. We can only stack it. Not that hard to do, though. And regarding DLC modding, see the link in my sig.

As mentioned above, this is the only currently known way to romance same sex-crew members. So, you have to live with the fact that you look weird for two or three dialogs. The broken face you can replace with a good head once you saved one. It has to be of the opposite sex too, though. It is also described on the link posted above.

Just to make sure you got that right: you play as girl the game as usual right up to the point where the romantic talk with miri (or the other girls) begin. Then, just for the romantic dialogs, you need to switch to the male body and once the dialog is over you switch back to being a girl. So, it's an immersion breaker for sure but not so bad, really.

Phoenix of Thunder and Deebe, I need to ask.
You will change the first post, how many FAQ do we need to make? Well, If you have any suggestions to what information you mean we should have in the opening post. Send it to me and I will see what I can do. Or if you really mean you have some importend info, then am I willing to delete this thread, so you can open a new one.

Sorry, it doesn't seems like I can delete this thread any more. Ok, then I need, what you see as needed info.

@ Started with adding some more links to FAQ, more to come.

Trainers can be a security risk, but so can randomly downloaded exes from the Intertubes, too (like, say, some IniFixer stuff).
Certain groups provide safe and usually reliable trainers, usually the "******" groups. CheatHappens doesn't border on illegality, however. They focus only on cheating, and they constantly deliver high-quality trainers and cheats for all major platforms. However, that quality sometimes requires a price; some of the trainers require you to have a paid subscription.
Long story short; I can personally vouch for CH's flawless trainers.

Basically, a trainer looks for memory addresses in a process and modifies them to a certain value. That enables you to do things you normally couldn't do by regular modding, like the super speed option, or the minigame hacks.

Hello everyone ^^. I've done my own twiddling about with the Coalesced.ini file and changing some things, however I wish to ask:

Where can I find the codes to give my shep more casual appearances and where to I place it?

Does anyone know the code for freezecam, toggleflycam, slowdown gamespeed and remove subtitles?

If you could link me to something I would appreciate it. I have a feeling these have been answered before but.. I don't know where x.x

It is possible to get the map through a screenshot-type method but I have as of yet to mess with it. You will also need a program to be able to edit the normal map after extracting it. It should looks like: the normal map on this page (purple one).

Hey, question for anyone who has some experience with modding casual outfits as armor.

I am using a coalesced editor to make changes to the ME2 .ini file so i can set up flycam, keybindings, and the like. i managed to add in the casual outfits i wanted to the normady locker.

i'm having trouble adding outfits to the armor locker, however.

i've found the codes for the armor i want to use, and i understand i need to set the arm, leg, and shoulder appearances set as:

ArmAppearances=(Id=4,Type=CustomizableType_Arms,PlotFlag=-1)
LegAppearances=(Id=4,Type=CustomizableType_Legs,PlotFlag=-1)
ShoulderAppearances=(Id=4,Type=CustomizableType_Shoulders,PlotFlag=-1)

and then the torso appearance set to the armor i want:

TorsoAppearances=(Id=7,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMM_ARM_MEDa_MDL",MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMM_ARM_MEDa_MAT_6a",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MAT_6a"),PlotFlag=-1)

which should give me this:

Posted Image

when i use that code in the casual armor settings, the armor shows up just fine. when i try that same code for the torso armor, however, i instead get type MAT_1a - a kind of grey armor (i want type 6a - that green armor).

Posted Image

i have also had a lot of trouble with residual N7 or kestrel armor hanging over the torso armor, even when the slot is set to be empty and allow the torso armor to show through.

Posted Image

^ N7 legs showing through here. if i turn on the helmet, suddenly all the body shows up right, but then you can't turn the helmet off. the hair just sticks through:

Posted Image

any thoughts?

EDIT: got answer that headgear needed to complete the armor hack - used earrings modded in to complete the look. also told that type 1a is all that is available for armors. any word on if additional styles can be hacked in as armor?

Last time I experimented with adding the Aria Armor, I needed a FullBodyAppearances statement as well, like, in your case:

FullBodyAppearances=(Id=7,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MAT_6a"),PlotFlag=-1)
