As far as I can tell, Gibbed's doesn't let you see or change ME2 plot flags, just the ME1 ones.


The problem appeared after her loyality mission or the Collector base or after both were completed?

What edits have you implimented in your C.INI?

Also look at the Plot>Henchmen>Flags in G.M.E.2. and see if anything is ticked that should not be.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but I've got a Gibbed question. Is there a plot flag guide anywhere, so I can build up a plot? I want to get the maximum renegade choices possible without losing Wrex, choosing Anderson at the end and with a Liara romance, but I can't find a guide to explain/remind me of the plotflags. Oh, values for ME1 and ME2 renegade points would also be much appreciated.

For keeping main Renegrade choices from ME1 to carry over to ME2; Plus keeping Max rengrade points, Garrus, Wrex & Ashley 


Plot > Mass Effect 1>Flags
& here
Select:
[Henchman] Garrus recruited
[Henchman] Wrex recruited
[Player] Romanced someone
[Player] Romancing Liara
[Virmire] Rescued Ashley
*Make sure no Virmire flags that say Wrex are selected*

Player >Basic
Renegrade points: 510

You can add most powers to shep and/or squadies.

Inge has a pretty decen workup in his projects downloads. Should be more than enough to get you going.

Sorry to be back in this thread, but I'm finally back around the PC that has ME2 on it and I ran into an annoying problem. I can get Zaeed's body to load, but for the life of me, his head will not load. So basically I'm running around with his body, but my head is still Shepard (and yep, went through the options in my mobile locker and his head ain't there). This is the head code I got from earlier in this thread:

Head Appearence:
HelmetAppearances=(Id=#Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_HED_PROZaeed.Zaeed.HMM_HED_PROZaeed_MDL",(Female="BIOG_HMM_HED_PROZaeed.Zaeed.HMM_HED_PROZaeed_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

I have the # switched to a real number (in my case, I have all of Zaeed's numbers set to 7, with the N7 codes as 6, as the condensed guide mentioned I needed those provided N7 codes in my PawnPlayer section), but it is not working (like I said, I got the rest of him to work...this is the only one that is thumbing it's virtual nose at me). 

On the save that I was using, I only have Mordin and Zaeed left for squadmates (rest dead or, in Legion's case, sold to Cerberus for money because my character = jerk).  So when I'm with them and press my loading key, Zaeed disappears (he's wearing the red armor, while my character is using the yellow armor...I had thought that would make a difference, but guess not :) ).  Did get this after talking to Ish in Omega, though:

Not worried about it, since the head won't load.  I do have two blank entries in the mobile armory, but both are my Shepard's face.  Edit: weird:

And suddenly he's staying there when I'm loading it now.  Only thing I did was I went in and tried just adding Kasumi's head, to see if that would work (it didn't).  Maybe my head codes aren't high enough.  Must experiment more.

I noticed that non-DLC characters all have this line somewhere in their head code:

bHasBreather=false,
bHideHair=true,bHideHead=true

Is it because they're DLC that they don't have this?

Edit: Miranda doesn't have that code, either.  Alien only coding?  Tali doesn't have it, either.  If you don't mind asking, what condition has to exist for this code to be needed?  Just curious :)

Don't have much else to do except look at the code and go, "why are you not working, pretty thing?" ;-) Had a crap night at work, so I need something to keep my mind off of that :) I'll continue taking a look at it and experimenting a little, so if I somehow stumble across getting it work, I will come back and edit this. Otherwise, just gotta be patient until someone can get me set on the right track :)

and i want to make changes on my own ,so can u maybe point to some kind of explanation, tutorials of the ini files???

my ideas are like change squad abilities, let biotics work ag armor but not ag barriers, tech abilities opposite etc....

Yes; by inserting a binding into the GameModeBase & GameModeDefault sections of the C.ini using Notepad2(++) 

Inge's file should have the info needed on this.

(true sets the voice to be muffled[as in wearing a helmet]; if set to false it should make voice normal)

bHideHair=true,bHideHead=true (set to true hides helmet; false shows the helmet)

Those squadmates who don't have this code usually indicates that they do not (default-wise) wear a helmet.

quick question, sorry if its somewhat silly.

I decided that one of my femsheps should grow her hair out, but because I'm trying to mess with imports as little as possible (just in case) I went with classy hairmesh for her, as its one of the styles you can select in CC. I replaced the hair mesh and all for of the texture parameters I could find, but I'm finding that her hair is kinda cutting into her forehead, it looks like its clipping, not to mention the clipping visor. is it supposed to look like that (first time using that hair mesh), or am I missing something?

And thank ya for the explanation.  I did note that when on a world with helmets that my head would revert back to my Shepard's breather mask.  I'm sure I could fix that by adding in codes for the person's breathers (I saw someone on this thread working on Zaeed's mask, so I could probably figure it out from there...perhaps next weekend when hopefully my headaches are gone).

Oh and while I'm thinking about it, do you happen to know the codes for the Illusive Man?  If not, no problem.  I can probably get that program for looking next weekend and have a look around.  I just thought it would be funny to kill stuff as him ;-)

Probably need to increase the hair vector parameters; or decrease the head vector parameters.

How can you mod armour?

Not sure if this the correct place to ask this question, but I'll go ahead anyway.

Can someone help me better understand how to edit the vector parameters when it comes to editing colors for lips, eyes, hair etc?

I wanted to edit the lip color to my latest FemShep, but without better understanding the coloring vectors, my results have been all over the place.  I understand it's a subtle mix of A, B, G, and R, but I'm confused about whether having 0.xxxxxx (x= numbers) increase closer to 1 makes the colors darker or decreasing them closer to 0.0 will make them brighter or vice versa.  As I mentioned, I experimented with the vectors (nearly three dozen attempts), though I was no closer to having a clearer understanding.

Any help from someone with experience will be greatly appreciated.
