I played around with the Revenant settings (SFXWeapon_Machinegun) to increase its accuracy and reduce recoil. I am a bit worried I might have tampered with the damage so I was hoping anyone could confirm that none of the following fields affect damage or rate of fire:

MinAimError
MaxAimError
AccFirePenalty
AccFireInterpSpeed
CrosshairRange
Recoil
ZoomRecoil
RecoilInterpSpeed
RecoilFadeSpeed
RecoilZoomFadeSpeed
RecoilYawScale
RecoilYawBias
RecoilYawFrequency
MinZoomAimError
MaxZoomAimError
ZoomAccFirePenalty
ZoomAccFireInterpSpeed
ZoomCrosshairRange

Also, was it overkill to change all those fields? If anyone has reduced recoil and improved accuracy on the Revenant with fewer variable modifications, I would appreciate it any thoughts they have. My approach modified all variables that had the words "acc", "aim", "recoil" and "crosshair"

My meaning is, just be careful with what information you® write in this forum.
Modding pcc files, isen't something everyone understand, and that can in worst senario spoil the game, if the person don't know what he/she is doing.

That message goes to more than just you.

Question - some squaddies wear a breather, which is annoying, but it's an addon right? Now - is it possible to replace the model of the breather with an actual helmet model? I don't know much about the ME2 models, but it would seem to eliminate the issue of having to physically attach a helmet to to every squaddies body model.

No. Not that we know of.
It would likely require the ability to recompile .pcc files, which we don't know how to do yet.

After a bit of testing I found that Recoil and ZoomRecoil are purely asthetic. The gun vibrates from side to side but the crosshairs and the bullets stay on target. My next step will be to try and get the recoil to make the gun move along the barrel axis, while still preserving accuracy. A no-recoil Revenant may be awesome, but it doesn't *look* awesome without the proper recoil.

My hunch is that all recoil parameters are asthetic and its the 'error' ones that actually make the gun drift

No, none of those will affect damage for the weapon.

I've found, though, that the easist way to controll the Rev. is by setting burst rounds to 3 or 5. So you feather tap for full auto but the weapon feels more accurate with bursts. However, then you might as well just use the vindicator...

I have to disagree with this, Inge. IF you're referring to Epic Legion's tools since you're not being specific.

He does clearly state that you should back up the affected .pcc files.

Otherwise, this IS the essence of modding. Yes, it can be destructive, but that's just a file restore or reinstall to fix. And nearly 1.5 years after the release, it's more than welcome, IMHO.

Plus it's pretty easy to corrupt the C.ini file as well if you don't know what you're doing.

I was wondering if this is possible.. Miranda's love scene but instead
of Miranda, it's my femShep and instead of maleShep, it's Kaidan.
Things might get abit awkward when she reveals her 'top half' (models might go weird) but I want the first part to record.

I doubt this would work.. Posted Image

The only way I think that could work would be if someone hex edited the pcc files to change which models are used. Epic Legion found out how to enable the console using hex editing, so maybe we'll eventually find out how to do that too. For now, it's not possible.

Is it possible to modify the notifications that pop up when you get paragon/renegade points or loot something etc to last a bit longer via the Coalesced.ini file or with some other method?

I agree with Collider it is possible with modifying Shepard's appearance only.

You mean the interupt display time?
Check my ME2 modding programs vol. 1 video.

Hmm... I'm getting an error: Invalid Engine.pcc size

I'm assuming that after pointing the file paths that you're supposed to click Load packages first?

I'll try manually unpacking them...

Are you sure that you have 1.02 patch installed?

Yes. I have the patches and all the dlc installed except for the CE edition stuff.

No worries, I just used the hex edit method :)

Used "ce hench_empty" to get rid of my squad then used "StreamLevelIn BioH_Liara_00" -- Easy way to play with only Liara as a squadmate.

Hi guys. I've recently been trying for a renegade playthrough, and I am curious if anyone tried to mod the scarring or surgery values so that the scars themselves are healed, but the cybernetic light behind the eyes stays?

Or is it the case where the both have to either go or stay?

Thanks in advance :)
