Hey , here is a problem from "The End1942" with the Pulled/bun hairstyle social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/7771278

The End1942 wrote...

 WAIT, don't hit reply yet!

Yes, I already know how to use Gibbed's save editor to change hair meshes.

Here's my problem:
My femShep is imported from ME1, and she has a pulled/bun hairstyle; specifically, BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.HighBun.HMF_HIR_Hbn_MDL.
When
I switch to a different, non-pulled/bun hairstyle, the top of Shepard's
scalp shows a pulled hairstyle texture/mesh (I can't tell) clipping
through.

The ME1 import defaulted to the following entries in "texture parameters" that seem to be causing the problems:
Hed_Scalp_Diff = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_DiffHed_Scalp_Norm = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Norm
HED_Scalp_SpecShift = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Human.HMF_HIR_PROAll_SpecShift
HED_Scalp_SpecShift2 = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Human.HMF_HIR_PROAll_SpecShift
...
Hed_Scalp_Spec = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_MaskHed_Tang = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Tang

I *think* that those are the problem entries...
Now,
I've looked at the same entries for savegames that have the hairstyle I
want (BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.PROCustomSexy.HMF_HIR_PROCustom_Sexy_MDL ie;
default femshep I *think*) and those entries are different:
Hed_Scalp_Diff

= BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.Diffuse.HMF_HED_PROBase_Scalp_Bald_DiffHed_Scalp_Norm
= BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.Normal.HMF_HED_PROBase_Scalp_Norm
HED_Scalp_SpecShift = None
HED_Scalp_SpecShift2 = None
...
Hed_Scalp_Spec = NoneHed_Tang = None

When I try these with my savegame, it just changes the clipping pulled style at the top of the head into a bald spot.

Does anyone have any ideas about how I can fix this?

No reply on his Thread , and i have the same problem than him , anyone ?

Did you guys look at this?

Sorry, I should have mentioned in the original post: *yes,* that was the very first hair modding guide I ever looked at.

As you'll notice, that guide has nothing on this issue.

Solve the CoolDown issue:
Change this in C.ini file
[SFXGame.BioActivePower]
m_bSkipPowerCooldown=TRUE

and add this line to a bind or a executable file.
SetIntByName Tec_TechR2 7
Have a good game..

People have been asking about this and I gladly share it with all.
Is it a problem for you?

Howdy. I'm currently looking for ways to correctly create a custom class and I found this on the gamespot forums. Thought you guys might like it.

Neon67fr wrote...

Is anyone able to make a compiled file with the following extra's? as i am wanting to get it so have the extra bonus power of cloak on the Sentinel, Vanguard and Soldier class's as well as the Special Weapons unlocked and Armors unlocked

From the Osori83 post but changed for the Sentinel, Vanguard and Soldier

(Fixed it. Finally got it working.)

Found a way to add non-bonus powers as bonus-powers.
Ex: Using Cloak as sentinel

1. In [SFXGameCookerHelper.PowerStandalonePackages]
add GameContent=SFXPower_PowerArmor,SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Cloak

2. In [SFXGamePawns.SFXCharacterclass_Sentinel]
add MappedPowers=SFXPower_Cloak

2. In [SFXGamePawns.SFXCharacterclass_Vanguard]
add MappedPowers=SFXPower_Cloak

2. In [SFXGamePawns.SFXCharacterclass_Soldier]
add MappedPowers=SFXPower_Cloak

3. In [SFXGameContent.SFXGameChoiceGUIData_HenchmenPowers]
add HenchmanPowerArray=(PowerclassName="SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Cloak",ChoiceEntry=(srChoiceName=93973,srChoiceTitle=93973,oChoiceImage=none,srChoiceImageTitle=93973,srChoiceDescription=155065),AchievementID=12,PowerImage="GUI_Codex_Images.Barrier_512"

Now in normandy, choose advanced training. Then in the list will be 2 barriers. Choose the second one and you will get Cloak skill.

Proof that it works : http://img710.images...82/me2cheat.jpg

__________________________________________________________________________

I tried to add cloak or power armor to my adept class but it doesn't work

even by changing : GameContent=SFXPower_PowerArmor,SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Cloak
to

GameContent=SFXPower_WarpAmmo,SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Cloak

it still doesn't work

Does anyone have a solution for it?

The poor guy never got his question answered. His topic was locked after he bumped it from no response...

Make a binding or add these line in a executable text file.

GivePower self SFXPower_PowerArmor_Evolved2
SetRank self SFXPower_PowerArmor_Evolved2 4
*********************************************
GivePower self SFXPower_Cloak_Damage
SetRank self SFXPower_Cloak_Damage 4

Text Files are a basic way to impliment multiple game edits with only one binding. See Here.

Hi All: Just asking do you know to change the order when receiving the Arrival mission from the ending of Horizon to ending of Suicide mission (like chanhe in the coal file)? Also I saw on video that female/male Shepard have Heavy Armor in casual outfit, just asking do you know the codes for them. One more thing, you know the ME1 pc cheat where you can cheat and get a set of armor, the one Liari wears in the intro of ME2, do you know the codes for that too? Please let me know and thanks?

Just create a new folder in the DLC's folder and move the DLC's INI's to the location. This will void the DLC without uninstalling it. Don't know but it may give the message about unauthorized DLC- in this case ignore it. When ready to play ARRIVAL just put the INI's back.

There was different heavy armors like Glat, Merc, Phoneix in this video  (0.12 and .21), any idea what these codes are?

Yes.
But only as casual wear as the Armor code doesn't read the mesh code: (MAT)
Using the method of adding the codes to the [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] C.ini sectiion and tricking the game into using casual wear outside the ship; should work.

Do you mean to change the hair to match the scalp or make the scalp match the hair?

I'm assuming this is impossible, but has any progress been made on removing the shared cooldown?  I've skimmed this entire thread and didn't find any references to it.  A number of old comments imply that UseSharedPowerCooldown=TRUE used to work but doesn't anymore.  Anyone tried using an older (of the cd perhaps?) exec file to regain the old functionality?

Another question, any way to remove/replace the tech armor visuals (with GSB for example)? The holographic armor thing is getting to me.

Hi phoenixofthunder:  Could you send me those codes and what numberpad I can use so those armors I can use off the ship please :)?

You mean to "spam" your powers?
As in launching one power right after another or to cast powers at the same time?
Or to completely remove restrictions on what can be attacked with powers?

You could try the Tech Armor Texture mods located in the group in my signature link.

My contimplation mesh code project (link in sig.) and the instructions on page 24 and these bindings will get you headed in the right direction:
[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="Keyboard Key", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance false" )
Bindings=( Name="Keyboard Key", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance true" )

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
Bindings=( Name="Keyboard Key", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance false" )
Bindings=( Name="Keyboard Key", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance true" )

It is possible to combine the bindings into one but it seems easier and safer to seperate them.

 I'm trying to add in more casual appearances to my coalesced.ini file, but every time I recompile the changes (with mass effect 2 coalesced compiler) the game hangs after I start one of my save games.
I've updated to the new patch, in case that has anything to do with it.

I'm new to modding my mass effect 2 casual appearances so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I cut and pasted from another coalesced.ini file that had the extra casual appearances already in it. All of which were posted in the modding is possible 2 thread as working at the time (11 months ago).

I can post the exact casual appearances that I added if anyone wants.

Oh I think I figured out what I was doing wrong.
I had ; in front of lines that I didn't want the game to run (the original 4 casual appearances), I just deleted those 4 instead and added in all 35 outfits from the already modded coalesced.ini.

Most of the people I talk to these days just use Notepad 2(++) and the Fixer to edit the Coalesced.ini. The program can hiccup at times-possibly one reason the save bombed. Also remember to rebuild and save the C.ini or there is no way it will work.

Updating to a new patch or installing big DLC's (like LOTSB) can indeed reset your Coalesced.ini to its defaults and all or most of your edits will get lost. I always follow the three B's:
Backup the Backup of the Backup.;)
