When playing the hack game is there any way to 'pause' it so the matches can be made.

My mouse jumps all over the place making the mini game impossible to play.

Sounds like your mouse sensitivity is going crazy:
You could try tweaking these options:

[IniVersion]
MouseSensitivity=1.0
DoubleClickTime=0.250000
bEnableMouseSmoothing=true

[SFXGame.BioPlayerInput]
m_fQuickOrderTime=0.2
bUseMouseDampening=true
GuiDeadzone=0.4

[IniVersion]
UIJoystickDeadZone=0.9
UIAxisMultiplier=1.0
AxisRepeatDelay=0.2
MouseButtonRepeatDelay=0.15

The hack game is something that just plain annoys me. Yet so far all attempts to change it haven't succeeded unless you want to install the hack tech upgrade from there get go.

I'll give it a go, thanks Phoenix. I would skip the mini game completely if some weren't mission dependant.

Or you can add a binding for this line or a executable text file you run when start playing.

SetIntByName Tec_MiniGameDecrypt 1 | SetIntByName Tec_MiniGameHack 1

It will give time enough for the minigames.

Does anyone know the text for Liara's Layer of the Shadow Broker outfit? I would like to add it to the armor appearance for my FemShep. I have tried searching for it but the search function on here never brings anything up. Thank you.

If you mean to have Liara's White and Blue Armor for your Shepard then see bottom of page 24 here on MIP3.

If I max out my paragon meter with gibbed save editor, can I still retain the loyalties after encounters with Jack/Miranda & Tali/Legion? I'm asking because of this thread: http://social.biowar...5/index/2907273

According to that full paragon meter may not be enough, because it's based on percentage.

Did you check the Texture Modders Group?

This is a New Game+ issue.
1) Shepard's created in ME2 and are NOT an ME1 import.
2) Only occurs if your also doing a NG+ ME2 game run.
As long as your character doesn't meet both of those criteria then there is nothing to worry about. If you do end up loosing their loyality you can just reactivate via Gibbed.:bandit::ph34r:

Hmm... news to me. I've never had a paragon run with either me1 or ng+ import where I failed the paragon loyalty option (or renegade if thats the path). As long as i've got points enough to have the meter into the final block it always works.

If you max out the paragon points via gibbed prior to the encounters then you should have no problem at all.

I don't use the 100% boost option either, fwiw.

Me either; I think it had something to do with speed running through ME2 skipping the majority of possible non mission critical interupts.

To install just go to your Mass Effect 2 directory/ Biogame/ Config/ PC/ Cooked/ and replace Coalesced.ini with the new one you downloaded.

P.S. If anyone wants a version with absolutely NO depth of field without having to sacrifice the cinematic colors and lighting by turning off depth of field in the config files (pictures below) or if you want ALOT more depth of field just let me know :)

Link to download NO Depth of Field with correct colors and lighting mod here. http://www.mediafire...zgwcyg1gd7zvlyb

To see the exact lines i adjusted just type in "dof" in the coalesced search bar and a small list will come up.

I changed the following:

m_fDOFDefaultBLurKernel    10.0
m_fDOFDefaultExponent      10.0
m_fDOFDefaultMaxFarBlur    10.0
m_fDOFDefaultMaxNearBlur    0.9

the second last line in the search bar is to make the game clean looking in the distance.

(bEnableDOF=TRUE,bEnableSceneEffect=TRUE,Bloom_Scale=0.2, ETC... ETC...

all that i adjusted there was DOF_MaxFarBlurAmount=0.1 where as it used to be 0.3 and gave a slight blur in the distance.

All done. enjoy :)

Please take no offense to all that follows:
Be sure to include what DLC you have installed as well as your game version: 1.1 or 1.2 in the description  Otherwise only a select few will be able to use it.

I myself am one of those who are unable to use your Coalesced.ini since its missing all my custom armor, Liara's armor and binding code+ her DLC info, bindings and much more (0.99 MB vs. 553.03 KB).

Also from personal experience I would suggest using text files instead of the actual Coalesced.ini. I remember a time when I was helping out someone with their C.ini and my C.ini got overwritten by theirs and it corrupted my whole game install and I had to Reinstall Mass Effect 2 again.

Well i have all DLC installed and im using version 1.2

I listed the actual lines i changed so people using the coalesced editor can manually change it themselves if they have other mods applied. I suggest if people are nervous about using this mod just make a back up of your previous coalesced.ini

Define all:
Store Launch Sale DLC?
Dr. Pepper DLC?
Collector Edition DLC?

Besides the Depth of field variables are you sure you didn't change anything else? Reason I ask is that there were lines under the systemsettings section of your c.ini that didn't match mine (the game defaults ):?

I'm apologize for my steadfastness on this. My goal was trying to make these edits as widely available as possible without having the file to cause conflict to other peoples' already complicated Coalesced.ini's.

If by BIOGame you are to refering to the Coalesced Editor section? I do know that there is a way to make a mod in the program- perhaps that would be the easiest thing.

Personally I don't use the C.E. program as its just too unstable for me. I will stick to the tried and true Notepad++ & Fixer method

I'm with, Phoenix. I'd rather have a listing of your changes than a custom c.ini.

Perhaps a tutorial style write up, or just the lines you changed.

Personally, and because I don't have the Collectors Ed., I would never use someone else's c.ini. If there was something I liked, I'd load it and mine up in notepad++ and do a compare. But, that can be a lot of work that would be better done by the originator assuming he/she knows and remembers all the changes.

If you're unwilling to simply list the changes you've made, and I'm being lazy here, did you place comments where you made changes in the c.ini you're providing?

I've tried to download texmod from alot of different places but every time I try and run the program It just does nothing. I've checked my Process tab on taskmanager and the program opens but is then shut down. I've added it to my firewall exceptions but still nothing. I asked a friend to download texmod and It opened for him straight away. Does any one know what this problem Is? I so desperately want to use some of these amazing mods created by people but I'm just getting screwed by god knows what!. Thanks.

*Edit*
I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit as well, missed that out.

You mean to use their heads on your Shepard on the Normandy? If so then yes it is possible. As far as other heads it is possible as long as we have the character's head MDL. There is one exception though (correct me if I am wrong) but the Asari model basically uses the same female model over and over but with different embeded textures. So basically the same female.

It requires a ".TPF loaded to work.
Did you read this?

Also projects for TexMod?

Guys, where in the coalesced.ini file can you change the accuracy of weapons? I know its not crosshair range which is just a cosmetic change to the size of the crosshairs. Specifically I am trying to adjust the accuracy of the shotgun SFXWeapon_HeavyShotgun.

Try messing with these settings:
[SFXGame.SFXSFHandler_Reticle]
m_fUpdateInterval=0.0166
m_fCrosshairAccuracyModifier=-17.0
Or if that is not to your taste, you could try this:

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="Shared_Aim", Command="SwapWeaponIfEmpty | TightAim | SloMo 0.# | OnRelease StopTightAim | OnRelease SloMo 1" )

NOTE: the binding needs to completely replace this binding:
[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="Shared_Aim", Command="SwapWeaponIfEmpty | TightAim | OnRelease StopTightAim" )
