Still have the same issue, I tried 'Only Project Group Members' 'Only Me and Project Group Officers' and 'Only Me' still nothing. Not today, but a month ago I even created a group for the 'Associated Group' tab to test out if that would solve the issue and it still didn't work.

Update: It only gives the white ursa-type armor. Oh well. Going to twitter to ask for those armors to come back in ME3. Should have been given those options.
Adding the casual binding at the beginning of my post should allow you to use it off the normandy with its color.
Thanks.
Question: Should I make both "base" and "default" the same key or different?
For instance:
[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="k", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance false" )
Bindings=( Name="k", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance true" )
[SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
Bindings=( Name="j", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance false" )
Bindings=( Name="j", Command="set SFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance true" )

Are you a member of the texture modders group? If so set that as the "Associated Group" to Mass Effect Texture Modders. Also don't know if it will work but try selecting every first checkbox in each list. I personally use Opera and it has never given me problems when uploading an upload. Also did you try evey accepted file format? Sometimes a file will get the ending renamed but not be registered as such even if it successfully uploads.

Add to [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] These depending on what you want:
HelmetAppearances=(Id=#,Type=CustomizableType_Helmet,GameEffects=
("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Helmet"),PlotFlag=-1)
ShoulderAppearances=(Id=#,Type=CustomizableType_Shoulders,GameEffects=
("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Shoulders"),PlotFlag=-1)
ArmAppearances=(Id=#,Type=CustomizableType_Arms,GameEffects=
("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Arms"),PlotFlag=-1)
LegAppearances=(Id=#,Type=CustomizableType_Legs,GameEffects=
("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Legs"),PlotFlag=-1)
These are the blank codes for the pieces of armor.

I'm not a member of the texture modders group, I only started uploading recently. I just downloaded and installed Opera and it gives me the same issue.
Should I try joining the group to see if allowing others to add photos in the group fixes the issue?
I did try every accepted file format but gif. And I didn't just rename the file extension but I opened the image in Photoshop and saved it from there as each different file.
Are you able to upload images right now to your project gallery? Could you try uploading a test image to one of your projects to see if this is an isolated issue for me or is it something that was bugged for everyone when the site last updated?

Ok, thanks.
No problem.
It is needed in both sections since neither section already has it. The base is what everything is based on and it may work there only but may not work all the time. Where as if it is in both sections it will all the time.

This is truely baffeling. The test image does indeed work for me with Opera and no problems (deleted test image.) BTW what operating system: XP, Vista or WIN7 and what version of the operating system are you using: 86 or 64? Sure come on in the modding is fun=]. @Phoenix, and that shoud sort out the two heads merging issue? Kewl, shall give it a go.
It should; but if it doesn't you probably will need to start all over.
If you have done no more than just to edit the INI- for this I would install one of the big DLC's (LOTSB or Arrival) again. It will install over the top of the previous install if the DLC folder for that DLC is already in the ME2 directory. In doing so it will "reset" your Coalesced.ini
If you have done edits besides these I would save them to a text file so that they can be reentered back into Coalesced.ini after the DLC installs...........

You need to be a little more spesific about your issue.
Describe where and when you get the errors.
If you uses Epic's tool wich is made in Java it can be a simple solution like install a version of Java from www.java.com it my require a applet running in background.
Or you can try this forum Mass Effect 2 Technical Support.

Hi Inge Shepard
I have tried all the approved file types and both methods for uploading the image, but the error always occurs at the same moment.
Once I have the upload screen open I click 'Add Files' and select an image that fits in the size restrictions. (note I've also tried this with spaces AND no spaces in the image name)
Once selected I press 'Upload Selected Files' and I get the conformation the '.jpg was uploaded successfully.'
Yet when I click outside the box to get back to the project page I have 'No photos have been added to this group yet.' even after refreshing the page or waiting any amount of time.
And when I go to my profile page under recent activity it shows that I uploaded an image to the project but there also is no photo there and depending on what browser I'm using I either have an empty box or a broken link icon.
I also just checked and I am running the recommended version of Java on my computer

So..your problem is regarding upload of pictures to your profile at BW SosialNetwork?
Right?

Specificly the upload of images to the projects gallery, any of my projects galleries.
http://social.biowar...4868/&v=gallery
I know this is more 'Social.bioware.com Site Help' issue than a problem modding question but I posted this question there about 6 weeks ago with no help from Bioware and again I bumped the topic almost 2 weeks ago and it really seems Bioware doesn't check the 'site help' portion of their site. I was hoping other people who texmod found a solution to this issue. But now I'm aware that not everyone who does mod and upload is even having this issue.

Maybe it is an internet security feature your OS has (I am on XP). Or maybe even a mix up in the software that the browser SHOULD be using and the software that it IS using. Have you tried uploading from a different computer?

Wow:blink: and I thought I was a Garrus fan.
Though raising the limit of squadmates past two (via the Save Editor) will cause either a black screen or a game crash. There are ways around this; usually by entering a gaming binding that lets users import someone on to the battlefield at a moments notice.
This is possible but requires the editing of the Coalesced.ini with a UNIX based editor like Notepad 2(++) [In my sig links]. It also requires that the file then be "fixed" using the fixer program that is in my signature links.
As to how to achieve this; that is where it can get tricky. It requires that the steps in my post on the bottom of page 24 here on MIP3 first be followed (Shepard will now be Garrus). Then it requires that certain squadmates INI codes pretaining to who will not be showing up as active members of your squad to be replaced with Garrus' code (makes those squadmates look like garrus). It then requires that a binding to stream all of the "replaced" squadmates packages in to the game to abtain multiples of our favorite Turian.....
It is very similar to the process for getting Liara as a squadmate for the whole game and not just for the DLC.

I did try it on a different computer too, still nothing. Maybe it has something to do with my account since I don't really post? Like maybe its a safeguard against people signing up for an account and then quickly posting something inappropriate? Before this issue showed up I never even posted a single thing.
Or maybe its just a bug that only happens to some users but went unnoticed since many users don't upload projects? I don't know and I don't think I will unless someone who works on this site actually looks into it and tells me what the issue is. Well fingers crossed.

I believe this is a format issue on the site server for BW SocialNetwork. I had the same problem with photo made in Gimp but not in Photoshop, I don't no why. You can also try to use your Paint software in Windows and save the photo as .jpg and see if that help.

1.
Laser sight
Did anyone found a way to add this to guns?
2.
Charge up functionality
I want to create a "plasma caster pistol"
The charging variables the geth shotgun, avalanche and cain share and others ive found do not seem to have any effect at all
The concept is to create a pistol that has the potential for powerfull hits that cripple defenses but requires time to fire
3.
Remove sniper cam/scope
Setting this to false has no effect at all while setting it true to rifles has, this starts to annoy me as i wanted to create a "hunting rifle" that has no scope and a rather low zoomfov (36)
4.
Sound of the gun
For 2 of the working refits i'd like to change their sound to fit their different behavior
5.
A way to add the guns as new
I'd like to have these weapons as separate choices as they fill different roles then their parent weapon and niches not covered in the game (also MOAR GUNZ!
6.
A tutorial on how to create a me2mod file
I'd like a link so i wont have to redo the weapons in the future if i **** something up (again;))
thanks in advance

Photoshop CS5 and I just tried in the default widows program Paint. Still the same issue and I have no idea what is going on because the default image uploaded just fine, when I tried making a test album separate from the projects gallery it worked fine, but whenever I specifically try uploading to a projects gallery it gives me that error.
I thought I might send an email directly to this sites help contact form but I go to
http://social.biowar...elp_contact.php
and it points me to 3 different forums and at the bottom of the page it has this
If you have tried all of those and are still having problems, please use this form to contact the developers directly. Please note that due to high volume, not all submissions will receive a reply.
With no form and no button to take you to a form. You win this round BioWare, you win. I will not upload photos of Grunt in different colored armor to accompany my texture mod, it was wrong of me to try.
Seriously though, thank you Inge Shepard and Phoenix, you two were at least able to give me many different ways to try.

Did you try implimenting the code lines for it in the weapon in question C.ini section?

You could try changing this variable:
RateOfFire=(X=850,Y=850) to RateOfFire=(X=30,Y=30)
No promises though.

Where are you setting it to false? In the weapon's section only? Try doing the same in its master weapon section.
