Changed it to FullBody instead of Torso - same problem, as soon as I changed the name of the vector I got the purple glow again. *headdesk*

:o:OHoly!!!!! My EYES!!!:blink::pinched:
Um where is my replacement optic nerve?:?(D.E.-H.R. reference);)

I had this once and once only when trying to edit Grunts Normal map to remove the yellow glow lights from his armor when I created the Red and Black Loyality Armor retexture texmod some time ago.
Thanks for the picture

1) Running on Windows7 x64
2) I do use texmods but I've tried loading the save with and without them enabled and it hasn't made a difference, Shep still glows purple
3) No project, just my own messing around. I'm using custom hair, ArmorLocker to get the Aria outfit to show up in-game, and custom eyes
4) I tried the instructions on page 1 of this thread and also tried just renaming the iris color vector to Emis_Color. Same result either way.
5) The only difference between the code I added to coalesced.ini and the one in this thread is that I had it listed under TorsoAppearance (followed the instructions for modding outfits in MIP2 page 1). Will try FullBody, see if that makes a difference.
Thanks!

Thanks for the answers to the questions.
1. Should not cause an issue.
2. Then texmod is now completely ruled out. (sometimes other mods can take precidence and cause such issues).
3. See number 4
4. Did you delete the line of code that was stated to be deleted in the instructions as well as its corresponding texture parameter?
5. Ruled out.
6. BTW: What are you using to edit the coalesed.ini?

Scary, isn't it? I mean, I *am* going for cyber-Shep this playthrough, but that's taking it a bit far...

4) Yes, I did. Still no dice. >.<
6) I use Notepad++ for editing

I'm sure it's gotta be something to do with the Emis_Color vector, I just don't know what :( It's almost like by changing that, the game thinks I want Shepard to be that color. I could just stick to default red TIM eyes but this is bugging me now and I want to fix it! :P

I have the same problem btw.
I have modded my shep with Tims Eyes thorugh gibbed save editor and I tried to add arias outfit as well.
Made the proper loadseq with Armor Locker and edited the coalsec.ini with this:
FullBodyAppearances=(Id=16,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMF_ARM_LGT_R.LGTd.HMF_ARM_LGTd_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_LGT_R.LGTd.HMF_ARM_LGTd_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

It did show up fine but the color is the same as the Emis_Color from shepard eyes for some reason, this is regardless if I load a texture through texmod or not.
The Coalsced.ini can't be it either because it loads the model just fine.The question is why does this error occure?

No other outfit so far has this problem either!

Okay lets start from the top. Follow the full tutorial on TIM eyes on a save where your shepard has not had any edits to the vectors or texture parameters. It is pretty much the same as the one on page 1 but is in its full format and may make more sense.

Hopefully it will work...... if it doesn't work, I'll scream and go bang my head through some cinderblock.......

Yay, it's not just me! *feels better* I haven't tried changing the color though

One issue I have with Aria's outfit, as well (on a different topic) is that it refuses to stay set, every time I hit a load screen I keep having to go back into the armor select (ArmorLocker sets Numpad9 to change it) so I can re-equip it. It still thinks it's equipped, but not showing up in-game until I drag the slider around a bit.

I guess I just fail at modding today :P

On an off chance are both of you still using the Armor locker method to do this?

Yes, is that a bad thing? :D
Btw. I checked the vector parameters for the eyes, they're just fine.

Phoenix, that's exactly what I did :) I can get the eyes to work just fine, purple glow and all, if I use normal armor or any of the casual outfits (I have quite a few!). It's only Aria's outfit which breaks. *grumble*

Can one of you try to do this without using the armor locker method and see if it works then. While another try using a Texmod project that turns Aria's outfit blue. And let me know the results.

If neither of those ideas work. You can post the contents of your armor locker pretaining to Aria here. Maybe there is a context that is not getting through to the game from the lockers' implimentation.

I already used the skin that turns Arias outfit blue, it had the same result as shown above regardless if I used it or not.
As for turning the Armor Locker on or off,would temporarily removing the "loadseq" and "gui_armor_menu" be enough?

Thank you veriying that for me. Also commenting any binding that you added to the coalesced.ini out should do the trick.

This will mean however that you must implement all of what I posted on Page 24 that pretains to Aria into the coalesced.ini first.

Just had a look at page 24,it made me realize just how much the armor locker streamlined that work extremely well.

I know. My own particular Coalesced.ini is exactly: 1027KB or 1.00MB after all the tid-bits I have put into its structure.
If the worst happens I will look at the saves that both of you are having issues with. And see if there is anything I could proactively do on my end.

Haha, indeed :blink: I tried adding it without ArmorLocker now anyway and it still didn't work, Shep is still pink. I use this skin for Aria's armor, but it does the glowy thing with or without it so that's not the issue. *sigh*

Thanks for the help.
I have tried out the guide on page 24 as condensed as possible,I deleted the old binding beforehand.
I added the SFXGameModeDefault binding
Bindings=( Name="NumPadOne" ,Command="OnlyLoadLevel BioD_Nor_000Cabin | OnTap 2.0 showmenu | OnTap 3.0 OpenGUI Personalization" )

Arias Code
:
FullBodyAppearances=(Id=2010,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMF_ARM_LGT_R.LGTd.HMF_ARM_LGTd_MDL",
Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_LGT_R.LGTd.HMF_ARM_LGTd_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

And the Numpad-Binding:
Bindings=( Name="NumPadSix", Command="Onlyloadlevel BioD_OmgHub_220DenBar" )

As far as I can tell that's all I needed, however the result hasn't changed.

I am sorry about that and I apologize, figured it best to cover all bases. Now I would have to believe that it is definately something in the saves. If you want send me your edited saves and let me take a closer look and I will see if I can see anything. Email on profile.
