Are you using the AAP for Garrus if so it may be that the game is reading that head model instead of the one listed on page 24. If that is the case try using this head code:
BIOG_TUR_HGR_HVY_R.HVYb.TUR_HGR_HVYb_MDL

As much as it pains me I am afraid that I can not send you my C.ini due to the fact that using it could cause your game that may or may not have the same DLC to crash your game.

My C.ini has grown quite alot since ME2's release and am not sure but think the actual size of my C.ini may actually impede performance on other people's machines' I remember once where the recipient actually had to reinstall ME2 because of this: My c.ini is 0.99MB or 1024KB compared to the default size of 580KB.

On a related note who are you putting into you active party besides Shepard? I think that there is something about certain squadmates messing with others when trying to use their outfit on Shepard.

I do thank you for your help, if you don't know why it wont work thats okay

Also I have all the DLC, but could I have your c.ini just to take a look through it. You must have alot of neat stuff =D
Also are you able to play as Samara w/ her loyalty outfit (Does it work for you?)


Also IDEA! to solve the other guy's problem w/ no head mesh (Also I used a casual appearance from a dif site, yours doesn't show head for me too =/) (Also I don't think I had the full entire mesh, I just turned off weapons and I thought I had the complete mesh O.o sorry my fault =(   )
Is it possible to load both the body and the headmesh? Like somehow put them both on the same ID load mesh thing? I'm trying it atm and If I somehow get results I'll post it.

Also yet another Idea, would it be possible to load the mesh as a headmorph? Or change the file to a headmorph file and load it? Just a random suggestion/idea o.O

Theres a material override I had to put in O.o I never knew that, this works for the casual appearance but Torso apperance for the armor won't work with this code =/ Shouldn't casual and torso work as the same code? (Changing Casual--->Torso of course)

Also if you don't want to send a copy of your .ini thats completely fine, I was just going to sift through it and keep it in My Documents.

 is there a way to play as man shepard with Kaidan Alenko's face, i looked at google and on masseffectface.com but the links on that site is not available. so does anyone have the exact look of kaidan so i can use please. i would Appreciate it greatly

Glad you found out that you needed the material override. I guess it is a specific issue related to Samara due to the fact of her and Mornith sharing PCC files. I personally do not have every DLC installed but if you want send me an email and I will send it you.

i tried putting it on my Ini file but when i play the game and load up the appearance, i don't get a change head. Shepard head is still the same as before the change. is there a proper head morph of it or this the only way to do it. I am still a newbie at the Ini file thingy. or is som1 able to edit the Ini and send to me somehow

Hm, well phoenix I have a further question for you...  I followed the instructions on that link, added the initial part then the part in green, and finally the Kaidan portion, but I still don't see anything but the default Shepard head/armor.  I noticed for Kaidan's info, the ID numbers are just #'s ... am I supposed to just make up a number for that, since I see other squadmate IDs have numbers?  Any ideas on what I might be missing...?

Seriously, though. Is there a way to switch Kaidan's face morph with the default Shep one, so that instead of Sheploo showing up when you create a new character, you get Kaidan? (For ME1, 2 and 3.)

Finally got it to work! I can now wear Garrus' head on the Rayya and Collector ship. The problem was that in those areas Shepard would default to wearing a helmet (except in casual appearance where it would be Shepard's head regardless).  This couldn't be changed unless you alter the code for the default helmet:

e.g.  HelmetAppearances=(Id=2,Name=335470,Description=335471,Type=CustomizableType_Helmet,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_HGR_SHP_R.SHPb.HMM_HGR_SHPb_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_HGR_SHP_R.SHPb.HMF_HGR_SHPb_MDL",bHasBreather=True,bHideHair=True),GameEffects=("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Helmet"),PlotFlag=-1)

And change it to:

Hi there!

Long time lurker here, haha. I've been curious about how to mod powers.

I've asked a bit around the admins of this forum and they've been a good help to me, but I've come up with some more questions.

I've seen a gif of the Power screen, in which the in game flavour text for the abilities were drastically changed, in a mostly humorous fashion. I'm curious to know if this is possible or someone has attempted this? 

Is it possible to mod the inherent cooldowns of powers? Say I wanted to mod Tech Armor down to 6 secs or something lower. Am I able to do so?

Am I also able to give the class powers (Tech Armor/Singularity/Charge/Cloak) to squadmates?

I have seen a few pictures of them on the Projects board, one of Grunt and another of a Shep, and Grunt had Tactical Cloak and Charge, but I was curious if anyone had tried it out and got it to work successfully.

Speaking of squadmates, is there something I can do to their AI so they will duck under cover when they're being injured or hurt? I know the AI is capable of sensing when an enemy is unprotected (otherwise Miranda/Thane/Samara/Mordin) wouldn't know to use thier shield/barrier stripping powers....or does that just happen because the AI is free to use their powers and isn't being micromanaged by the user... 

Is there some sort of value or something I can modify so things like Pull and Singularity have no projectile animation and go straight to the target, like they do with squadmates?

Could you give a link to the giff to which you are refering?

It is possible to mod the cooldown to be seperated instead of being shared.

Yes you can give powers to squadmates but it will need to be given to them again at the start of every successive load of each level there after.

As to the last two questions I will have to look.

How do you play as Tali? I have seen some pictures of sheps(not sure if they were femsheps or not) as Tali, and I'd like to try this. I've tried skimming through these "modding is possible" threads but there is just soooo many pages lol.

Tried it out and works great! Gonna try out playin as the Illusive Man next playthrough as maleshep. That suit/tux of his is f*ckin legit.

yeah i did that and i can play as Kaidan, Only problem is when i reload my file it resets itself so i would have my 'default shepard' look and have to go through process of selecting it all again. i can also select Kaidan head and armor on Normandy yay.

I have question, is it possible to "mod" the game so you can have Illusive Man's head, and have his"suit" as a casual garb on the SVV 2, and also have his head when you're in the field fighting?

I saw this video and thought it would be fun to try out:

It sure is possible to make Shepard look like TIM.  

Both the helmet and torso(can be used as casual just add the code a second time and replace TorsoAppearances= with CasualAppearances=) are there already. Do a search or a find fuction on the web page for the word "TIM" and they should come up:
