which ME do you need help me2 or me3?
Hi revan7, it's Mass Effect 2 I want to find a way to get the asari stripper outfit (not the human stripper outfit), I couldn't find a way to play to as Liara in Mass Effect 3.

Sad story: I lost all my Mass Effect-related tweaks etc. in a hard drive failure in September, and have been looking for a modded C.ini file that worked really well with the game. It was by Sunnie22 and had the following features: reloading a clip maxes out your thermal clip count, numpad number keys do things like flycam, ghost, walk, add/subtract Paragon/Renegade points, add minerals/credits/levels (the latter two can of course be tweaked with the savegame editor) and the first four function keys were "cheat codes" such as god mode and no cooldowns. However, the things I liked best (besides the reload function) were the full spectrum of casual outfits and a modified Widow rifle that used ten-round clips with a slightly higher damage output.
If someone has a C.ini file with these or similar attributes, or Sunnie22's file itself, I would greatly appreciate a quick forward.

Mass Effect modding really has evolved in a few years (Last time I checked, we were limited to Coalesced tweaks).
So, with ME3Explorer and the ability to import custom meshes, is it finally possible to give ME2 squadmates proper sealed suits and helmets?
I've seen a bunch of texmods for "sealed" squadmate outfits, but never a mask/helmet mesh replacement.
It can be done in ME3, at least (as evidenced by Getorex's awesome Full Face helmet mod), but what about ME2?
Also, it it possible to fix the ME2 cutscene weapon issues now? I always changed the squad's loadout to be as consistent as possible with the cutscenes (that means giving heavy Pistols as a 3rd weapon to Garrus, Thane and Zaeed) but it's always annoying to see a Soldier Shep pull out a Shuriken every once in a while (and always in close-ups)... Standardizing the cutscene guns to heavy pistols (which all classes and most squadmates can use) would already be a huge improvement.
I've tried googling this but no luck. Is it possible to edit the individual pieces of armor and give them different stats? Like for example, give all N7 armor pieces 10% health each?
Ok firstly I'm really new to this whole Coalesced editing thingy, so go easy on the scrub yeah? Anyway, if there is anyone still on this page, I would like to be able to wear Tela Vasir's armor as my actual armor, not a casual armor, I've look almost everywhere and can't seem to find a definitive "This is how to do it" so i would just like to be able to wear this and I'll be all good, however while people are reading this, is it possible to get Liara's armor to be available as well. Thanks.
is it possible to swap companion models? i'd like to give samara/morinth armor, that morinth was wearing before recruiting. like asari commando

You'd need to use ME3Explorer and port Morinth's armor and put it on Samara, but it's not always guaranteed to work, after this you'd need to use the busebackgroundstreaming=false, and this makes the game crash at time to time, and it loads for a long time.

Vasir's armor is not possible to do without busebackgroundstreaming=false, and it doesnt work always, same goes for Liara's armor, but IF your replace a fullbody armor with Liara's armor, it would work without "busebackgroundstreaming=false", meaning you'd have to find Liara's armor on the model mesh and texture list with ME3Explorer, port them, and replace a Full body armor. this should work, but It's risky considering the files might corrupt, or the game could just crash at time to time.

You can do that by editing the coalesced.ini, it works with ME3 also, you can also modify Weapon's fire rate, damage and clip size, i have tried all those i meantioned, they work both in ME2 and 3, all you need is to use ME3Explorer's Coalesced Editor, there's a certain line for each stat and such.
I just reinstalled ME2 which I haven't played since Origin came out. I used to use texmod all the time but now it doesn't work. I tried the origin trick that works for ME3 but still nothing. The game starts without loading the textures.
I don't know how to get Texmod working without cracking the game in the first place...
Hi there folks. Have some questions about ME2 Coal.ini editing. Watched whall 3 topics but didnt find answers i was looking for. Anyway i see there are quite a few talented modders here. If you can spare some time, i,ll be more than gratefull.
So i managed to edit Coal.ini to play as a turian guy (not garrus). But still there are some problems i can,t deal with.
1). There are some Normandy cutscenes in wich game automatically changes my characters armor to casual outfit. There is no problem in editing casual outfit to make it look like turian outfit. But the head is a problem.
In Coal.ini my turian head is just a helmet with proper mesh name. It is possible to wear it both on missions and the Normandy through "Onlyloadlevel BioD_Nor_000Cabin" keybind. During those cutscenes outfit menu pops out in game menu after pressing the keybind just like in other cases. But there are no sliders exept FullBody armor in it. Leg-, helmet-, sholder- and other sliders are missing in outfit menu during cutscenes. So i cant pause game and fully change my shepard back to turian until cutscene is over.
And its kinda suck, because lovescene is one of them. =(
There is one interesting bind : "SFXPawn_Player BUseCasualAppearanse false". I hoped it would force the game to "turn off" switching from armor to casual appearance. But it didnt. Or i just didnt understand how this command works?
Requesting assistance. =)
2). Again head problem. There are 2 options in helmet code - "hidehead true" or "hidehead false".
Option "true" gets me to some kind of a turian facemask and glued lips when Shepard speaks. Option "false" does tolerable turian face lipsync, but due to some bones missing there are some glitches with turian eyes.
Any suggestions would be awesome. =)
3). To work properly this mod requires to load whall materials from certan level of the game: BioD_OmgPra_201Clinic.
I did an "OnlyLoadLevel" bind for this. But it also requires to add necessary packages to "PackagesToAlwaysCoock" and "StartupPackages" sections to work during mission cutscenes. I added "BioD_OmePra_201Clinic" through "SeekFreePackage" to first section and through "DLCStartuppackage" to second section. But adding it in first section causes game to "blackscreen with loaded level sounds" at the end of saveloading. And adding it in second section causes game to simular glitch during any gamelevel load including fresh start in Cerberous clinic, Maby game tries to load both levels at once because of missing "OnlyLoadLevel" command wich is available only to keybinding script. I dont know. But some help would be awesome =)
Hope somebody can assist me or suggest topic/forum with possible solutions. Sorry for my terrible english btw.

Well, to answer question 1, it would make it easier to replace shepard in ME games with any character or npc model, by doing it manually, for example take a turian head and replace a hairstyle with it, and replace the clothes you use with the armor you want to wear. This is the option which will mostlikely work but you should take a backup before doing any changes.
For Question 2, I haven't had eye glitches or such very often but the ones you mentioned might be caused by your pc, not sure but it's possible, I don't really use the hidehead option myself due to it being buggy in manyways.
Last but not least, Question 3, you can make quick key bindings to your keyboard using a mod manager like the one i am using, here's the link to it, http://social.biowar...ect/1998/#files, you can also use Warrantyvoider's ME3Explorer to modify ME1, 2 and 3, in almost anyway, and it's the most simple to use, if you are a quick learner.

Wow man. That reply was so quick. Thanks. =)
So, by replacing hairstyle you mean by using Gibbed Save Editor? Because i already tried that and all i got was missing hair - bald human head. I manually went to "Player - Appearance - Morph Head - Hair Mesh" and changed it to prorer mesh code. Am i not quite done yet, and something else should be changed?
Are there any other ways to do that?
Btw i still wonder in wich .ini folder game holds adresses to standart Shepards head/body. Searched every damn .ini file, but all changes seems to have zero effect - game still loads default models even with deleted lines in .ini files. (sad face)
And about using ME3Explorer to edit ME2. Is it possible to load .pcc from ME2 in ME3?
Tried and had just a bunch of errors. =/
There is no meshplorer or some simular tool in "ME2 Explorer" part of ME3 Explorer. So, its no use i suppose.
Thanks again.

Each hairstyle has a model in their PCC files, you could replace the mesh with the Turian head you want and replace textures on the same time,
Me3 explorer has an option which is ME2explorer, which only has slight differences but it is made to work for ME2 better, try with it
And i response withing 24 hours pretty normally due to i have subscribed the thread so i know when someone posts something
That quick key binding is just awesome.
No longer necessary to restart the game before every mission to clear cache.
Well, indeed changing textures is the easiest part using ME2 Textmod. Now shepard has human head with turian textures.
I suppose mesh changing is connected to PCC Editor. Or some UDK + 3dmax work.
ME2 PCC Editor less userfriendly then ME3 one. No settings chart, just code strings.
Saddest part - no tutorials for ME2 PCC Editor.
"Quick update"
Well, it seems i am on the right way. Just did a coulpe changes in skeletal mesh sockets.
http://imgur.com/uftYsFc - PCCEditor
http://imgur.com/iUyyqFl - some scary screenshots ("i have special eyes and face")
Neck part fits almost perfectly, but that zombe-turian face ...
So should i work directly with bones somehow? Or search model code for human face in PCC file?

Well first of all, you could just port out the turian face/head from the game's files and replace shepard's hairstyle or such, it would be faster, but yoes you'll have to edit the bones while doing it the way you're doing,
also, i'll make a new topic(page) for modding ME Series, i have lots of mods to share with the community and frankly this "topic" is outdated and is not categorized too well! I'll share a link here whenever i have managed to grab the time to make the topic.
EDIT: I also renamed my user name here, cuz it was the user name i used back in 2013, just so you know.
Well, in your words this procedure is indeed very easy and less time consuming.
Sadly i just dont know how to "port out turian face" and how to "replace shepards hairstyle with it". Still newbie a little looks like. =/
There is a topic here somewhere about exporting ME2 models using 3dmax and UDK but i suppose this process is a bit different.
And since ME2 Explorer just hasnt an appropriate tool for working with ME2 meshes and bones, i suppose this task would be a little more difficult then i hoped.
However, will be waiting for this topic you are talking about. Maby there will be a couple ideas/tutorials wich will help me make turian-commander.
So damn bored to play as a human ...
BTW it seems, that turian-zombie face is just a result of changing hair mesh to turian head mesh in GibSaveEditor. So, ME2 PCC Editor didnt help.
